This is our favorite sushi spot. The rolls are always well made and taste fresh and delicious. Our favorite is the scorpion roll but we also love spicy yellowtail, crunchy calamari and tootsie. The chicken teriyaki plate is also delicious but disclaimer, the teriyaki sauce is not as sweet as other places make it which I personally prefer. They always give great service as well. Definitely a hidden gem.

This restaurant was the most amazing experience. I came to check out this restaurant because I heard that the sushi chef paints pictures on the sides of the plate that can be a very colorful. So I just had to check it out and I must say, it did not disappoint. The dinning experience is over the top awesome here.

Really great sushi. I eneded up getting two apps, spicy tuna tartare and jalapeno tuna, with a side salad since I tend to judge places on simpler items and this place does not disappoint. The rolls were good too (shared). Honestly, not pricey when you consider and compare any other east coast sushi location and trying to get quality ingredients here. So for being in AZ, quality and service- 10 out of 10!!!!

Absolutely fantastic! We arrived early and really didn’t want to wait 30 mins for it to open but I’m so glad we did! Very clean and friendly! Spicy miso was so good we ordered one to bring home. Everything we had was very tasty.

Stopped in for a late dinner. Restaurant was beautiful clean and nice atmosphere. My sushi was delicious and fresh. The kids loved the fried noodles with chicken and veggies. The staff was so friendly and the food came very fast. I’ll definitely be stopping back in.

Just discovered this awesome place today. The food was delicious (all of it), service was very friendly, atmosphere was pleasant, store was clean. Ginban doesn’t draw much attention in terms of curbside appeal, but this place has a large, appealing menu and does all of the important things very well. The prices are also reasonable–you can get a Bento Box that has miso soup, salad, pot stickers, California roll, veggie tempura, and 2 other entree meats on top of that… I honestly feel like there were even more things on the plate… all for like $18. Very glad that this gem is in the neighborhood!!
