This was a very confusing transaction. I walked into the carry out store front where I ordered general Tsau’s chicken lunch special. The person behind the plexiglass panel thought I wanted sweet-and-sour chicken, so they gave me a 1 inch thick tub of a hot jelly sauce with peppers in it and a box of chicken fingers. I thought the red jelly sauce was some kind of free soup, but it wasn’t, turns out it was intended to replicate sweet and sour sauce, which is still not what I even ordered. Unfortunately, I learned that after taking two or three healthy swigs of this hot jelly sauce. I kept eating chicken finger after chicken finger after chicken finger and there was still 3 or 4 left in the box. When I open up what appeared to be a bonus paper bag, thinking it was a crab Rangoon or a spring roll or some thing else delicious… anything, but you guessed it… Another 3 bonus chicken fingers! By this point I’m fairly confident this facility has nothing more than a variety of different hot jelly sauces and and endless amount of chicken fingers in the kitchen. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be eating Chinese chicken fingers for a long time. The chicken fingers themselves weren’t that bad, but considering all I was left to eat for my lunch was a plate of chines chicken fingers with a bonus pack of 3 more chicken fingers, I was left, feeling confused and bloated.

It’s not often a I leave a 5 star review for a restaurant, but in this case I feel it is well deserved. Reading through the previous reviews I must admit I was a bit skeptical, but I prefer to form my own opinions based on personal experience- glad I did!

I usually love this place and the food is excellent but I had my first bad experience.I got a Pu Pu platter for 1 and everything was badly overcooked. The chicken fingers and wings were close to burnt and extremely dry and the beef teriyaki was so chewy I couldn’t even eat it. I use to think they had the best beef lo mein around but this time the meat in it was really chewy. Out of all that food only the egg roll was ok.

First time ordering delivery from here. Ordered sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice and one egg roll. The deep fried chicken was very greasy with a lot of batter and hardly any chicken. The chicken was not freshly cooked. It was old cooked chicken then battered and deep fried. The egg roll was very tough and chewy. I had to throw it all away. I will not be ordering again.

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced! I order the Peking Duck a lot or the Plum Duck. We also get the House Fried Rice which is very good! My wife usually orders their steamed chicken broccoli with the garlic sauce on the side and some chicken satay appetizers. All of it is very delicious!

Ordered tonight and the food was not edible. It was very over cooked. I tried 2 of the dishes and I was very disappointed. I did call before my husband ,who ordered, came home. The person I talked with did offer a credit for next time. He tried the rest of the order and was equally disappointed. I have ordered from ginger tree in the past and have been very satisfied. Not this time. Never again. There will be no next time. .

Good and quick service, but I have to tell those who want to try Chinese foods here: stay away from them. worst Chinese foods I have ever eaten. The fried dumpling, vegetalbe rolls, and fried noodles all tasted weird. The chief should taste the foods before serving to make sure they like it by themselves.
