Expensive for the quality and quantity. It was better than mediocre, and we paid over $90 for 5 smaller than average rolls and shrimp with noodles. For that expense, I would have expected some complimentary mizo soup or edamame. It was rated #1 on Yelp for sushi (the whole reason we went), and honestly I’ve been to better places in Tucson for sushi. There were lots of people there. It’s small inside, the bathrooms were cute with the rock displays on the floor, but out of soap. The atmosphere was nice, dimly lit but very loud and our waiter spoke quietly we couldn’t hear him. I don’t think it’d go back. Not anything special and overpriced. The specialty rolls… weren’t much better than the regular rainbow and dragon rolls. Not impressed, but it wasn’t bad. If I went again I’d try a sushi boat… but may not be anytime soon.

This place is the best sushi I’d have ever experienced in my life. Everything they have are delicious. Authentic Japanese restaurant. If you ever visit this area you have to try it. You’ll never disappointed. I would recommend make a reservation they get really busy.

This is a restaurant that I really enjoy and have been frequenting for a long time. As a Japanese person, I feel that it accurately represents the essence of Japan, and being able to enjoy sushi of this quality at such a reasonable price in Tucson is truly a great deal. The owner, Jun, possesses exceptional skills. The staff is friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere.

Great food, really loved the fried calamari and unagi!! A little different than anywhere we’ve eaten before (the ceviche roll is pretty tasty). If you end up here you have to check out the bathrooms!! Very unique decor.

This restaurant is a gem of Tucson. Super tasty sushi and other menu items prepared with fresh seafood and other ingredients. Service is amazing. Good drink options and nice sushi bar. Every month they have Facebook roll which is a month special on the menu. Heart Attack made from fried jalapeños with cream cheese is my favourite.

I’ve eaten sushi in several states and countries, and this is some of the best I’ve had. So far, I can say it’s the best in Tucson. The hot dishes and desserts are good too, but the sushi is what really stands out.

My fiancé and me went here for the first time on our anniversary. The sushi comes out really fast even on busy days, which is a plus. The staff were very friendly and caring as well. The sushi itself is nothing special compared to cheaper alternatives. We got 5 rolls and paid about $70 for it. We agreed that only one of those rolls was worth the price, which I think is the dragon roll at $16. They for some reason put iceberg lettuce in their rolls and it doesn’t really work. I have no hard feelings towards the place or the people, but I would probably go somewhere where the price matches the quality better.

Food is just ok/good. Seems a little overpriced. Sushi rolls not anything unique. Almost all of them seem to have imitation crab meat. Cool bathroom though lol

Very few Sushi bars in U.S. serves authentic Japanese food by a Japanese chef. Most sushi bars (99%) are serving frozen false advertised fish like Tilapia. Ginza is the real deal. If you think you know sushi, go there on Friday or Saturday and order Omakase, and let Him makes you his best pick of the day. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t go there ordering sushi rolls thinking you know Japanese food.
