Love this new addition to Montclair! Had the pleasure of dining there this evening and was very happy to find both vegetarian and non-veg options. The peach salad was delicious as well as the oysters, gnocchi and squid ink pasta. Love that the menu isn’t too large but has more than enough options. Service was excellent. Try this one out for date night!

This was one of the best restaurant meals we have had in a while. Highly recommend the grilled peach salad, street corn, pork chop and the duck pasta. But honestly we tried a bit of almost everything and it was all REALLY good.

Fascino is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been here for dinner numerous times and they never disappoint. There are so many things to love about this place (ambiance, service, price, creativity) but I think why I love it so much is that they serve just the right portions so that you leave satisfied after an amazingly delicious meal and not just full. Their portions are just the right size and their menu seems to change just enough to keep the consistent delicious plates while still introducing new items. Also, sorry for the mediocre pictures, my wife took them 🙂

Really horrible experience here a couple months back. I was in fact so annoyed about it I didn’t even want to revisit the experience to leave a review until now. Salads and apps were severely over-salted to the point we wondered if the chef had gotten drunk and forgotten he already salted it a few dozen times. My pregnant niece was also with our party and staff were made aware of her pregnancy-related dietary restrictions. She ordered a meal that should have been safe for her, but wait staff failed to tell her that they did not have a major part of the dish, just subbed it out instead for something she can’t eat and she didn’t know it until she took a bite. It could have been downright dangerous for her and her baby. We spoke to staff who took it back to the kitchen and literally just gave her scallops with a size of Brussels sprouts, not a cohesive dish at all just two completely different things with completely different flavor profiles that made the other taste worse. The sauce that was on the scallops in the original dish was gone, it was literally just plain scallops and sprouts. Also took the entire meal to get her a meal back, so my pregnant niece was just sitting there while the rest of us ate and then had to eat her meal on her own after. Not the meal or service you would expect for the price at all. To make it worse they said nothing about the situation, charged us full price, offered nothing else to compensate for the issue and didn’t seem to care at all about our experience. You could not pay us to go back here. We feel absolutely ripped off.

I’ve been looking to try more upscale restaurants to expand my palette and this place did not disappoint. The Octopus and Raw Oyster appetizers were absolutely delicious and all their pasta options were fantastic! The food overall is on a completely different level; everything blended together so wonderfully to create an amazing gastronomic experience. It’s truly artistic the way all the flavours come together! The staff made us feel extremely welcomed and it felt like home. I came here to celebrate my birthday and they even had a card and dessert ready for me! I’ll be coming here for the rest of my life and bringing all my family and friends whenever I can!

We have been to dinner at least twice. The food is excellent! The chicken liver pate is a superior twist on what you may know. Light, slightly sweet and delicious. Both raw and roasted oysters and fresh, plump and full of umami. Fish of the day was so tasty and fresh. The pastas are all made in house and full of flavor. BYOB and a wonderful, serene setting make this a go to destination.

Had dinner with my family Friday night, the food was amazing the oysters and peach salad were heavenly! The steak, pork chop were tender and perfect temp, I can not forget the blueberry bread pudding and great cappuccino. Beyond expectations!

Such a great dining experience at Fascino! The food was amazing and we loved that it was a BYOB. The romaine salad was phenomenal. We also ordered the sea bass & hanger steak! Portions were perfect for us. The peach crostini was wonderful as well, not overly sweet. The birthday card was a beautiful touch, I have never received that at a restaurant! We will definitely be back!!

I was told to come here by someone who raved about Fasciano. The menu looked amazing and my friend and I were very excited to try more than a few things, but we narrowed it down as our eyes are usually bigger than our stomachs. We ordered two appetizers which were good (really liked the grape reduction sauce on the burrata), and shared a small portion of duck ravioli, which was delicious. We ordered the pork for our main course, but whatever was served to us was very strange and didn’t resemble pork to me at all. Even the server commented that it looked very weird. I did not eat mine but was still charged. Then the bill came and had a convenience charge added. We asked the server what that was for, and he explained it was for credit card charges. We asked what would happen if we paid in cash. He said he could go take the charge off. Just seemed very odd that it was put on before we offered a form of payment. Overall wanted to give more stars but a few things left an odd taste in my mouth. Final note, the music choice seemed very ill-fitting for the vibe.
