I loved this beautiful family-run Italian restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious, true taste of Italy. The outdoor setting was stunning and the service was great. We were made to feel very welcome by Sylvia and not rushed. I visited twice in 3 days and would recommend anyone to come along. The truffle pizza was exquisite as well as the homemade tiramisu! Pizza was fantastic, outdoor seating vibe was so chill and date-like. Great for solo dinner, a date, friends, family. Aperol spritz was excellent. The quality of the food was impressive, and I had a great experience. I wish I could do 0 or negative stars! Save yourself and just go to Mister01. This place was decent when they first opened 10 yrs ago and first stole the ENTIRE menu of the orig Mister 01 (used to be Visa 01) but I just tried again for the first time in a few years (only because mister01 was closed due to MDW) and it was absolutely the WORST pizza I have ever had! The red sauce tastes like it’s directly out of the Can and the ricotta cheese that they used on the Montecarlo star (called star Luca at mister 01) tasted like some weird fake cheese spread blended with Vaseline. It was horrendous not to mention the appalling price tag of $29 for this “personal” pizza – should have just ordered papa johns.
