My review is about the pizza only, which I found to be exceptional! Best pizza I have found in the area, so far. They have bruschetta pizza, which I love, and they know how to make a pizza well done (that sweet spot right before it gets too burnt).

Good food and good service to a point. I pondered leaving this review for a while now, but I really miss the food and am hoping this will reach the right persons eyes. I have been coming in there since I have been 19yrs old. I know it’s changed hands in the 21 years I’ve been going there but the food is sooo good and that has not changed. but recently the service is nothing less then nasty. I have stoped placing orders and have turned around when I see this person at the register or wondering around. I’ve come there multiple times (prior to stopping recently) and have see this youngish woman give pure disgusting attitude to customers in person and over the phone. This is unacceptable customer service. I know she has been complained about but some how defended, when here words and attitude are completely indefensible from what I have witnessed and been on the receiving end and instead of getting better it gets more disgusting. I guess nasty service is the way to go now a days, I don’t know…

With sadness in my heart I have to leave a review. That’s the only way you guys will change things. We spend over $100 dollars and they charged if you used card?! Why? Chicken parmigiana, horrible, pizza didn’t have much flavor. Service was not great and they charge you for soda refill $1 this never happen to us before in a restaurant. Charge for refill?! not even MCD’s charges for refill are we in 1980’s still? Food is over priced don’t recommend you better of going somewhere else. Respectful.

I don’t usually post bad reviews but my experience was so bad that I want to warn others. Today was my father’s 70th birthday. None of us are from the area so we asked a local where to go for good Italian food. They recommended Giovanni’s so we decided to try it. When I got to the restaurant I explained to the gentlemen behind the counter that I had baked a cake for my dad for his birthday. I politely asked if I could store the cake in the refrigerator while we ate, the gentlemen was very nice and he said he would see if he had room in the fridge. We ended up deciding just to keep the cake near us on the table. Later when it was time to cut the cake my husband asked if they had a lighter to light the candles. A lady that worked there begrudgingly gave us one. I asked her if we could also have forks and some plates. She responded rudely by saying that they sold dessert there. I guess she didn’t like me bringing a cake. I explained to her that I already asked the gentlemen if it was ok. She handed me forks but refused to give us plates. We ate the cake on napkins. I have never experienced such an inhospitable person in the food industry. We spent a good amount of money on our food as it’s not a cheap place to eat and then to be treated so poorly after spending that money feels terrible. Luckily my dad was still in good spirits and her bad attitude didn’t spoil our celebration. That said, I would think twice before coming here.
