I have been a patran of this place for many years without an issue until recently! Good is great but I noticed a while back that my totals were adding up wrong. I chalked it up to rising prices until the day I decided to dig a bit. I noticed they were adding on five or ten dollars every order. I brought it to a servers attention only to be told it was an accident, they had forgot to give the special discount lol. I would buy that if it happened once but not every time. Hustle if you gotta hustle but don’t be dishonest or disrespectful that is worse than the neighborhood tweaker!

Workers were friendly though not very talkative. The place seemed clean and well kept. The reason for just giving 3 stars was the food. I ordered a “Big Red” from their menu and was very disappointed. On the menu it was described as being made with steak but what I received was something favoring a Salisbury steak. Just some kind of generic ground meat. I didn’t expect a rib eye but I didn’t expect such a generic “steak” either. I’m assuming the Philly cheese steak would probably be the same but I won’t be ordering to find out.

Got to say Giovanni’s has upped their pizza game recently. I didn’t used to care much for their pizza as it was usually bland and cold, but recently, they have become my go to pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings. I can’t speak on the rest of their food, but the pizza is really some of the best around, my only complaint (minor) is that the sauce could use a touch more spice.
