If I could give zero stars to this place, I would!!! When I told the waiter/bartender (there’s only 1 that works here) that our food order wasn’t right, cold not warm, missing cheese & that this happened last time…. He started telling me that I was being RUDE because I keep coming back! I told him my best friend likes coming here & that he should practice good costumer service & take the food back and heat it up! He said it wasn’t his mistake it was wrote down for the cook correctly!

How can this place have a 4.6 star rating is insane. I say this respectfully, but the food sucked. The grinders were stale, soggy, and the fries were basically melted to the cheese on top of grinders. Really nasty stuff to be honest, and disgusting to eat. Ohhh, almost forgot! Peperoni slices on a meatball and sausage grinder?? Why. Yuck!!

I waited a long time to review Giovanni’s, because, if you can make it in Waterbury, you can make it anywhere – how did we come up with that? How did Waterbury become recognized as a deciding factor? I remember my Grandparents telling me “Waterbury is a tough crowd”. So bring me a champion!! I can’t speak on the pizza because I never had it, but because of the sad salad I just had I will never go there again. I paid 11 bucks for a “Greek” salad…the nerve of them to serve such poor quality food to a customer. They didn’t even offer Greek dressing and the feta cheese was in large blocks. The salad was sitting in a pool of water. Unappetizing
