Placed an order online, picked it up and it was wrong. The owner repeated my exact order back to me that it was plain and dry bacon cheeseburger. So I didnt think it would be wrong since he repeated it to me. Got back to work to eat and burger was covered in mustard on top and bottom of burger, pickles (all which soak into the bun) , tomatoes lettuce. And pickle on the side which soaked into the already soggy fries. Fries were frozen rallys fries from the grocery store. Bad customer service from grumpy owner and employees.

Update. They have changed their menu and added a bunch of things that are not Italian and as a result their original menu has suffered. Daily pasta specials have been traded for hamburgers. Homemade foccacia has been traded for sysco breadsticks. Their shrimp alfredo now has no flavorn which has been tried to compensated with over a dozen flavorless shrimp. I came wanting baked ziti but was told that was a winter dish but it’s on a sign year round. They have really lost what made them special. It’s truly disappointing.

The Baked Ziti was phenomenal you could taste the fresh tomatoes in the sauce . Had an unusually pleasant chicken/bacon pizza that I would definitely get again. Veteran/Italian owned and operated. Complimentary ice cream for the kiddo sweet tea was on point staff was great. $20 out the door with pasta, pizza, salad, tea, and a bottle of water. Still had left overs after feeding 2.5 people. 10/10. Will be back soon.

One of the few places I would eat in the Uptown/Downtown area of corpus christi. Everything on their menu is phenomenal, clean kitchen, friendly staff, and reasonable prices for top tier Italian food. You can taste the love, care and experience JD brings to his food. Highly recommend for lunch and catering.
