Loved our lunch! We had an order of the garlic shrimp and lemon butter shrimp. Absolutely delicious! And there’s chickens that run around freely, that was fun. They kept wanting a snack! The shrimp were big and cooked perfectly. It’s peel and eat which I love!

The famous Giovanni’s! The shrimp was very tasty. We had the garlic scampi and the hot and spicy. The garlic was excellent. The hot and spicy- two people had it from our family and didn’t adore the spicy flavor. ( they liked Fumis spicy more) though this was better cooked here!

We went here because this was listed as one of the must try places on the island. When we went, there was a line to order the food. The cashier was helpful in answering our questions about the food and did not make us order in a hurry although there was a line behind us. We ordered the Scampi (as it was the dish that was recommended by everyone online! ) and also the hot and spicy. The Scampi was too garlicy for us and we had to separate the garlic from the Shrimp. The hot and spicy was the one that we liked , mostly because it was spicy and more flavorful than the Scampi.

Finally back to Hawaii and eating at Giovanni’s Shrimp truck again. During this trip, we tried both locations (truck & H Mart). This review is for the truck location. The flavor was still amazing. At the truck location, we ordered the Garlic Shrimp Scampi only, because apparently the other options were out. It didn’t bother us, because we already tried the hot & spicy plate and it was more than enough . They were short-handed, but the line was not long (around 3/3:30pm) and service was pretty quick. The garlic rice was good, but if there were a little more garlic, it would take it over the top. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it! Can’t wait to come back. Mahalo!

Quite simply the best shrimp I’ve ever had. I tried both, the regular and spicy. The server tried to talk me out of getting the spicy ones but I don’t think Hawaiians really know what spicy food is because nothing I had that was spicy was hard to handle at all. Anyway, you do have to work for these because they aren’t shelled, but they are absolutely delicious.

The shrimp were fresh. We got both the original and the spicy one. The original is best, the spicy one was a bit too sour for me. The portion is just right. The rice is soft and yummy. There are no indoor seating area only outdoor.

Came to Oahu from Washington state and one of the things I was told I needed to do was go to the north shore and find Giovanni’s. So my husband and I along with his cousin rented a car and made the drive. Oh my gosh, it was AMAZING. I got shrimp and rice (gluten free!!) My husband got the garlic dog. Amazing food!! We also got to sign the truck, super awesome experience!!!

Got tons of recommendation from closest people, and it was worth visiting for once or twice. Too much waiting during lunch time, and people whom bought the food from the other truck actually sat on the tables in front of the Giovanni’s which the customers should had to move other places. Other than that, Good food.

It is really nice food truck. And also really famous we go to the lunch and we ate garlic shrimp ahi poke. Pineapple juice. The view is really nice and the pineapple juice was fantastic.
