Giovanni’s Table is a relatively small, family owned, casual restaurant in Beecave , Texas. They have many home made dishes as well as pizzas. We had shrimp scampi and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Both were delicious. Everyone was friendly. I would recommend that you give Giovanni’s a try.

The calamari was good. Our food took forever and came out dry like it was sitting for a bit before it came out. It was our first time too and we conveyed our dissatisfaction, but our server didn’t seem to care. He just asked if we wanted our check. I’m just disappointed cuz I really thought we would enjoy the food. Restaurants are getting more and more expensive, but the quality has been declining. In Austin, there is a place to eat on every corner, I would think they would want to send every plate out great.

This was my first and last visit to Giovanni’s. Bleh! Our table started off with mozzarella sticks. They could not have been fresh made as they were quite tough and tasteless. I ordered the Caesar salad and eggplant parmigiana. When the salad finally arrived it was swimming in too much dressing. The eggplant parmigiana could best be described as burnt cardboard with cheese on top. Also, the sauce on the accompanying spaghetti was likely from a can…terrible. What’s worse is that the owners don’t care. Never once did they ask if I enjoyed the meal. The wife was rude and argumentative. When I objected to paying for the salad she told me I should have ordered the dressing on the side. For lunch that took over two hours, I would have expected a fine dining experience. Instead I would have been better served if I had gotten my meal from digging in a dumpster
