Gave a surprise birthday there tonight for 60 guests when resturant itself was very busy. Food was brought out a little late but we understood. Party went off well. Had to bring in cake which I expected. Will have another party there if I need to. Regular menu is good also. Great pizza.

The food was really good! The pasta’s and sauces are all made fresh on the premises and they are delicious. My only negative remarks would be is we felt very rushed. Our dinners arrived before we finished our soup (ended up taking the soup home) and the decor needs a lot of work. Not very appealing at all. The plastic red checked table clothes are very worn, and the decorations are bad, along with the banquet style chairs. If they would update the inside I think it would be a great place. They have the food nailed down it is GOOD!

Love this restaurant. I’ve been going there for 30 years and have never had a bad meal. The current owners are a nice family who care about their customers. Highly recommend everybody go there to eat. Prices are reasonable and you get a lot for your money. Bread sticks are made right there as are the pastas.

Me and my family love their pizza and their salads. We had have the same server every time and he has done a wonderful job. Refills on time, he is very generous, and always received us with a smile. We definitely will be coming here more often.

I love this restaurant. However, it has been downhill. Last 2 times I went, I dined in and had pizza. I asked for a box and was told both times they would ask their boss if I “could” get a pizza box to take my leftover pizza home (more than 3/4 pizza left). I said I don’t want the Styrofoam containers cause they stack the pizza slices and they can harden together and you can’t separate them at home. I did in fact get the pizza boxes but they cram a 16 in into a 12 or 14 in box. Heck I paid full price for a pizza, I deserve the correct pizza box. If you get carry out, the pizza comes in a box. I am not paying less for the pizza by eating in the restaurant. Their tortellini soup is watered down – more like broth with little tortellini and chicken. My son ordered a full fettuccine w/shrimp (paid extra) and got like 3 shrimps added. Quality has gone done majorly. Don’t know if there are new owners or what. Also the parking lot is in shambles, potholes and cracked blacktop everywhere and its a long parking lot and the lights toward the end don’t work so its very dark. I know its family owned and when you go in the waitresses care more about talking and chit chatting with customers and telling the same story to every single table than doing their job. And past 2 or 3 times – they had no kids menus. All they are, are copied menus. Not hard to go to the office and photo copy some.

Food is always delicious and good size portions. Really have never had anything I did not like. Only thing is service differs some servers are great. Few are very attitude prone for no reason then they are to busy which is understandable. All and all at this price you get more than your money’s worth.

I have eaten at Giovan’s several times and it has been a decent experience, until the other night. My mother and I went to dinner and there were probably about 6 occupied tables with 2 servers. We ordered a stuffed artichoke for an appetizer as well as 2 full meals. The server brought our salads and we waited quite some time before asking the waitress about the appetizer. She said she could not believe it was not out yet. After several more minutes passed, she said that it needed time to bake. I politely asked her to please make sure the food did not arrive at the same time. She returned with the artichoke which had been obviously microwaved and not baked. The meal arrived within a few minutes of the appetizer. The waitress said only that is what she feared would happen. The entrees were cold and clearly had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. I then told her that I did not want either of the entrees and that we would just pay for the appetizer and salads. There were no apologies, just a bill for over $16.00. They actually charged over $4.00 for each dinner salad…which was lettuce and some shredded carrots. I told the manager I felt that this was extremely shameful for them to charge us so much with no apology or any attempt to make things right. The manager did not even acknowledge me, but turned to the server and started to talk about us. NEVER will I return! In this economy, you would think that if I am willing to spend my hard earned money at your establishment, you should at least go a bit out of your way to keep my business.

been a customer for awhile. Ordered a pizza a couple weeks ago. I get it and the cheese is falling off the side and it’s all burnt. that was an awful thing to bite into. So i called them and asked if they would replace it and they happily said yes. a week goes bye so I decide to get my pizza. I go to pick it up and they made a size smaller than what I paid for in the first place. I was so angry that the simplest of items could be messed up not once but twice. and they told me that’s what they had in their system. I don’t care what’s in your system especially when I have a picture of the original pizza I ordered proof and they knew it was a 12 in not a 10in you don’t pie cut a 12 in pizza only a 10in . pie cutting a 12 in would be a personal prefernce. what happened to the customer is always right? oh and the managers attitude was beyond belief. no responsibility for their actions whatsoever. Will NEVER go back here again nor should anyone. where is the option for no stars.

They had a nice fund raiser for sids but wanted 40.00 cover to attend. The band playing are friends from school that I grew up with went to say hi to the band members. Another friend works there. And this management reprimanded my friend about me. I was in and out in 5 minutes. After spending my money for food and drinks on the other side. If management is that tight that you have to pay 40.00 dollars for 5 minutes at the end of the night. THEN THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE. I WON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR SPEND MONEY THERE WON’T EVEN ORDER TO GO FOOD.
