As a former Bound Brook resident, years ago, I used to really enjoy eating here. Even celebrated my engagement with my now husband at this place, 18 years ago. We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch and I can honestly say that is was just as great a restaurant as it was two decades ago. We absolutely loved it!

Authentic Italian, Amazing Atmosphere and staff are super attentive. Plenty to choose from on their menu, but they also have daily specials. To start they provide you with bread and dipping oil as well as bruschetta. The prosciutto was so good. Had it with an appetizer as well as on my chicken breast for my main entree. We had a party of 6 and they didn’t autimatically add the gratuity (which is uncommon). But make sure you leave room for dessert! The Tartutfo is to die for!

Our server was absolutely excellent and very attentive to detail. They have a fairly large menu and many specials. We got the veal and butternut squash ravioli in cream sauce. The portions are pretty small but the food is rich so it did not leave us wanting more. The dining room is quaint but they have outdoor seating as well. Overall a quality italian restaurant.

BYOB with impeccable service! From the crab and shrimp roll appetizer to the chocolate mousse dessert, the food was delicious! We also had the salmon and shrimp ravioli entrees, which were specials of the day. You can’t go wrong with Girasole…a definite must if you are in the area.

Absolutely my favorite BYOB Italian restaurant. Moved to the area 6 months ago and have gone twice so far with many more dinners to come! In my opinion, not too easy to get reservations (so call well in advance), but this only speaks to the quality of food and service you will receive here, and the high reviews don’t lie. Their regular menu items are fantastic enough but they truly shine with their specials. If you want to impress, this is the place to eat.

The matre’d was just filling in and I forgot to ask her name. I told her it was our first time and asked for some recommendations. She delivered! She was the nicest as was everyone in the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and go! Ps. Make sure to try the bolognese!!! To die for!
