Worst experience EVER!! Do not waste your money! The man at the front desk was snooty because we didn’t have a reservation. The waiter was extremely rude and rolled his eyes that we had a 9 year old with us. Like he was mad he got stuck with the table with a kid. He was very disrespectful and impersonable. My husbands steak was raw in the middle so we sent it back. The waiter was unapologetic about this and when he brought it back, it was overcooked and hard as a rock. When he cleared our plates and asked how everything was, we said it was terrible and he didn’t care. He said nothing but cleared our plates. No apology, no offer to make it right, no let me get my manager, nothing. He did not even ask us if we wanted coffee or dessert, he just brought our bill. When we left, we again met with the man at the front station and he also asked “how was everything?” My husband explained our awful experience and he actually said ” I don’t believe you.” That is just plain wrong. First rule of business is the customer is always right. Especially in a service industry. I could not believe my ears that he actually said that to us. We will 100% NEVER go back to this restaurant. I do not recommend.

We had a 745 reservation. After waiting 15 minutes I asked a busboy to get our waiter. We were told he was busy. Finally someone else came and took our order After an hour I finally managed to get our. We have been going there for 2 years. I asked him what was going on and he told me if I didn’t like it to leave. OMG I have never been spoken to like that. On the way out I was told if I didn’t pay for the food she would call the police. I said we didn’t have any food and were told to leave. This is an expensive restaurant. There are better places. I have been stuck in the house battling sciatica and I was looking for a relaxing night out. The waiter should be fired for this. He said he was the only waiter. The restaurant should not take reservations if they can’t accommodate them.

My mother and I decided to try something new but still in the area. After compiling a short list of restaurants we decided on Giuseppe’s and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. I had the oysters (east coast) which were incredibly fresh as well as the scallop dinner with potatoes and asparagus. The scallops were cooked perfectly. My mother had the truffle steak which was also cooked to perfection as well as properly seasoned with the truffles. It was in no way overpowering but in the same token it was not light in flavor. Great! We also had the buratta which was also very fresh and great tasting. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

So many Italian restaurants to choose from in this area, Giuseppe’s is consistently good worthy of four stars. Never blows me away, but consistent. Only complaint is their bread. One of my benchmarks is bread for an Italian place and I feel their bread is subpar, but everyone has different tastes in bread, so take this with a grain of salt. Will be back I am sure.

The owners daughter was VERY unprofessional and disrespectful towards my grandmother. She called in to modify our reservation to see if we can add an additional seat to our 4 person reservation. JACKIE, was very rude and said “NO.. are you trying to tell me how to do my job” ..She could have simply stated sorry there is not enough room at this time. My grandmother then requested that we call back. Jackie then called my grandmother back again and CANCELLED our reservation.

Service is excellent and the food is good. Traditional Italian fare…recommend the peppers and sausage appetizers, but only if you like it spicy. When this says spicy on their dishes they mean it. Also their wine list is pretty good and they don’t price gouge you when you buy a bottle. Didn’t have the dessert but the couple we were with enjoyed their bread pudding and lava cake.
