My fiancé and I just ate here tonight and I wanted to make this review while everything was fresh in my mind. I had wanted to try this place for awhile now-every time I had come to the Poconos and tried to make reservations, it was full so I was excited to snag one for 8pm tonight. We got there early at 7:15, the valet drove us from the parking lot to the door, and the hostess kindly seated us early with a great view of the waterfalls outside on the top floor. It was indeed pretty, and the ambiance was nice with live music playing on the deck below us. Our server Mikey was excellent, attentive and always with a smile on his face.

This place is out of a movie. Stunning. Great service. Beautiful music. Ambiance. Food was terrible. We had a plethora of different things we ordered. Some things were vile and others out of a box. Imagine being near farms and serving disgusting food. Go for drink and sit on the cliffs near the waterfall. Skip the food. The French fries were OK. I’m here for the rebuttal..Your midtown friot had fresh calamari? You are lying. The Mac n cheese was hard and tasted like Velveeta. Were they not?

Beautiful setting. Service was excellent. Food was good but not great. The fries turned out to be the best part of the $70 meal.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for dinner because of the way it’s nestled into a very unusual and beautiful location (a must see, bring your camera). Hubby started out with a beautiful and delicious tossed green salad with fresh summer berries but for $14, we thought the portion was too small. My “crispy” artichokes and dipping sauce were tasty but they had time to cool off before they reached our table. Our entrees were served to us with no regard for timing (i.e. we were still eating our appetizers when our entrees suddenly appeared on the smaller table for two). My BBQ chicken on skewers was both tender and tasty but over salted, in my opinion. The rice and corn paella paired nicely with the chicken. Hubby enjoyed his beef sliders (he ate all three of them) with his truffle fries. Yum. Regarding the rating for “Atmosphere,” sadly, we were seated next to a table occupied by three oblivious “Karens” and their four (too young for this restaurant) kids; a tired, crying baby, two bored-to-tears pre-schoolers who were allowed to leave their seats and roam around freely, and a teenaged boy who was listening to his cell phone without earphones. When the check came, the “Karens” began arguing about who owed what and they wound up taking way to long to pay the check and leave. I’m writing about this experience because restaurant managers need to know that the rating for “atmosphere” includes a diners ability to enjoy the dining room experience as much as the food. To top off an otherwise chaotic evening, our disinterested waiter brought us the wrong check, which we had to resolve. When we finally spoke to the manager about our experience, he dealt with it in a way our waiter didn’t. Our waiter ignored our clear discontent even after we asked to be moved (note: the restaurant was not crowded). The manager, however, apologized for the craziness that night, took our drinks off the bill, and sent us home with some beautiful desserts, which we greatly appreciated. Would we try this restaurant again? Probably not because it left a bad taste in our mouth. Should you give it a try? Definitely, yes. Judge the restaurant based on your experience, not mine. Chances are, what we experienced tonight was unusual, just a bad night all around, it happens. Hopefully, they learn from this review and do better for you. I hope so.

This place was something we wanted to see for the atmosphere and menu looked good. Thankfully both are fantastic we had the croquettes, a vampire slayer and goat cheeseboard, then I had the porkchop and my wife had the sliders. For dessert we had mini macaroons (yummy). The mango jalapeño margarita drink was so good. Thank you a phenomenal service!!! Also there is a terrace for photos of a small waterfall very romantic. Thank you!!

We could not have had a better experience dining with Glass. I booked a reservation for my partner’s birthday and it was everything and more. The amazing view of the waterfall and surrounding nature while sipping on their high quality drinks cannot be matched. The food was delightful, but be prepared to share. They offer small plates of loveliness and high quality cheese boards.

Nice atmosphere for a dinner date. Food was good, portions were small but it’s a tapas menu. Took a very long time for food to come out and our waiter must have been new because he pretty much ignored our table, took our order and then disappeared…even getting the bill was difficult.

Cool location. But that is where it stops. The food AND drinks were priced at fine dining prices but the quality and prep was so far from that. And a few other reviews mention this too – they had a live band (which was very good) but it was SOOOOOOO loud. You could not have a conversation. Very disappointing overall.

After a friend asked me about this place, I was disappointed to see that my previous review no longer existed, so be aware of the high review score if they make efforts to remove reviews.
