Very bright and clean. We sat at a booth with a lamp which made us feel very cozy and comfortable. The staff very sweet and accommodating. I had a pot roast dinner the roast was delicious and tender. The mashed potatoes were a little bit on the bland side and I didn’t like the green beans. I don’t like boiled green beans. But overall I had a wonderful time. One suggestion tho, is to have on hand plant base milk for people that don’t use dairy products for their coffee. Like me

Every time I drive by this place it is packed, so the other day I decided I couldn’t stand it anymore and I pulled into the parking lot. I went in and asked the lady what the heck is going on here and what have I been missing! I then ordered a very tasty shrimp basket and took it home and stuffed myself until I passed out with pleasure. I’m pretty sure it was a Friday night because she said there was going to be live music, they have a nice bar and lounge and a great big dining room. I am absolutely going to go back and have a proper sit-down meal at some point very soon.

Our first time there we were told there was going to be a band and it was probably going to be too loud for our family (my daughter is 21 months and pretty loud herself at times). I would have preferred to have been seated and we could make that determination on our own. If it was actually too loud we could have taken our food to go. We ended up at Bucksport house of Pizza that night which was excellent!

DON’T DO IT!! Worst food I’ve had in a long time. Ordered baked stuffed haddock, $29.00. It was pre-frozen and reheated in a microwave, small portion and tasteless, worst I ever had, obviously not prepared on site. Same with onion rings. They were greasy and prepared from frozen onion rings from some vendor. Calamari was doughy and under cooked and mashed potatoes were cold. The service was just okay, but not great. Way overpriced and clearly who ever is in charge is MIA. Avoid this slop house!

Food was excellent, great place for a gathering – happened to visit during a 1973 highschool reunion. The staff was awesome, atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. Great place for drinks and party!

The food is good. Haddock chowders excellent. Burger was cooked the way I asked, juicy and BIG. The waitress was very impressive.. wrote nothing down and got everything right in the middle of a grainy St Patty’s day hullabaloo.

I’ve been here many times but will not go again. At the bottom of the menu it says that cash customers get a 4% document but credit or debit cards don’t. My friend paid cash and got no discount. I paid with a card and had 4% added on. Just tell me I’ll have to pay extra to use the card, don’t say cash gets a discount. I felt deceived. The food was good and the waitress was lovely. I just don’t want to support someone who won’t be up front about what I’ll be charged.
