We went to this restaurant after visiting Mesa Verde and I was floored by all the food, especially the beet salad and the vegan mac and cheese. I want to add a note that Ive never had any of these foods and that it tasted better that regular mac and cheese! The hospitality was also wonderful, I wish i lived closer so I cd eat there all the time!

What a hidden gem. Amazing to get fresh, healthy & delicious food while on the road. The beet salad was perfect- huge & with just the right amount of dressing. Meatballs & pesto were great as well. Lots of options for those with dietary restrictions. Had a nice conversation with the proprietor. Was fast & casual for those on the go, yet the food was very upscale!

What an awesome surprise find on our way to New Mexico! We stopped for gas and noticed the Global Kitchen nearby, so we decided to see what was on the menu. We ordered a selection of tapas, each item was better than the next! The meatballs, Tempeh chorizo arepa (forgot to take a picture) and the beet salad were well presented and delicious, but the curry garbanzo beans won the favorite of the day – the flavors and texture were perfection! The vanilla cake with strawberry jam was a nice treat, and the pistachio cheesecake was superb!

My husband and I enjoyed a healthy bite to eat and were so pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of food! Great service too! We didn’t know what to expect with it being next to the gas station along a frontage road with the outdoor dining space adjacent to the actual building. We loved it and the whole concept. It is hard to find well prepared vegetarian meals in the middle of cattle country and the tapas style menu gave us a chance to create a truly satisfying meal. Usually the veg option is just a side thought and does not constitute an adequate meal, but this place, veg is the star! We will be back!

Jakes’s hospitality and food were first rate! It is obvious that he LOVES his craft, and this passion comes through in his attention to detail in the food he prepares. We had the roasted beet salad, vegan Mac and Cheese and an arepa. We loved all of them! Plus, an added bonus was a great conversation with the couple next to us! We will definitely stop in again when we are in this area.

Delicious and nutritious food! My boyfriend and I loved our experience here. We had the meatballs, beet salad, arepa, Mac n Cheese, and pickles- it was a feast! We enjoyed chatting with the owner, who was friendly and offered local tips. This is a special spot, don’t miss it when you visit Mancos!

We dropped by while passing through Mancos. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We sat out on the patio with our pup and enjoyed a lovely day. It was a wonderful experience! The vegetarian in our group was well taken care of.
