My favorite things are the chips and the black bean dip. I am from NY and people never serve black beans with chips so I love that the chips and dip are always warm. The server was really awesome and told us about the biggest snapper that the restaurant caught. I ordered the Blackened Red Snapper. It came with rice and 4 pieces of shrimp. Everything tasted fresh, and I got a large piece of fish that nearly took over the whole plate. Gloria’s does not play about the portion size. Our table also ordered the Cheese Pupusa, Chicken Tamales, Tacos with Chicken, Carne Asada, and Carne Flameada. Highlights were definitely the Snapper, Chicken Tamales, and the Carne Asada.

My waiter was phenomenal and went the extra mile. The menu stated fried plantain, so I asked are you meaning tostones. Waiter replied they only do that for brunch. I was like come on and when my meal was delivered, I had tostones. That’s employees going the extra mile. Food was really good and the atmosphere is always good. Definitely stop by for drinks and dinner.

Such a cute Salvadoran inspired restaurant. Very cute aesthetics, service was great, and the food was delicious! Must try the aguachiles so good. The queso fundido was okay not my favorite. The flan is a MUST!!

Tried this place out for the first time and we’ll be back to try other items from the menu. We were seated promptly and received excellent service overall. They want you to enjoy your experience. Had the ceviche trio, gloria’s super special and the a la gloria. Drinks were house margarita, 1986 margarita (I did not end up liking this one and they replaced it, even though I said I’ddrink it) and prickly pear margarita (wished it was a little sweeter). Definitely recommend. The tamale in gloria’s super special was wrapped in banana leaf. Be prepared the tamale will taste like banana leaf. Going to come back on a Saturday for salsa and night life!
