RenCen is fantastic. I’m focusing on the RenCen and not the hotel inside. We went on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and not many people were there. No surprise as not much was open. Only Burger King in the food court was open. Wasn’t a pleasant experience due to members of the janitorial staff being extremely loud.

I did not enjoy this Marriott location!!! The hotel charged is incidentals charges upfront and the lamp in the time were glued to the tables!!! The room were barely cleaned and the beds was delapdated!!! The heating was terrible… My friend was moved into another room because of the same issue!! Room 4417 is terrible!!! Not to mention we paid $27 per day during the week and $12 per day on weekends!!! You couldn’t get to the valet area to drop off your luggage before parking your vehicle! The restaurant was in the hotel lobby was serving food the was undercooked wing dings were nasty!!! Our food was suppose to be ready in 15 minutes it took like more than a half hour!!! I don’t plan on going back!!!

This post is for The Pantry. I was disappointed in the Ren Cen burger. It was basically a couple of previously frozen patties. For the price it SHOULD be made from fresh ground beef, and hand pattied. The side Mediterranean salad was mostly Iceberg Lettuce with thin soggy red onion strips. Fries were scrumptious!

Dinner at Highlands. Well prepared, well presented delicious food. The view, sunset over the river, was great.

As a traveler, there are always a few “necessary” places, and to know where the GN Renaissance center is, definitely make your life easier, as this is a one-stop-shop for all the need to have’s: from a tailor, cellphone recharge (AT&T) to CVS (Drug store) There are also a variety of restaurants. From affordable healthy foods to oily takeaways and a few very nice high-end restaurants.

There used to be a wider selection of restaurants to choose from.

GM not willing to spend the money to have a bar open for an event. Lobby is crowded with people trying to buy canned drinks. Would not come here again.
