The garlic knot pizza is amazing, it reheats really well too. The inside is really fun and gives classic pizza shop vibes complete with arcade games. There’s seating inside and outside. The staff are really nice and they have cool stickers. A great spot for a casual pizza date! It quickly became a favorite for us.

I had an amazing experience at Gnarly Girls Pizza in San Diego! Their pizza is undoubtedly some of the best in town. The flavors were outstanding, and I especially loved the option to have garlic knots as a crust style – it added a delightful twist to the classic pizza. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. If you’re a pizza lover, this place is an absolute must-visit!

This is by far the best thing I have ever eaten. The customer service is awesome and the portions are huge. I had an issue with my order the first couple times, but the manager was quick to replace the pizza and was very nice not to even charge me the last time. The food is a little on the pricey side but it’s worth it. You get what you pay for and I got heaven in a pizza box.

I live in Pioneer Ca and pizza is my favorite food, so when I tried Gnarly Girls pizza I thought this is some of the best pizza I ever had. Everytime after that when I visit my Son in SD, we go there. Just got back from NYC and ate pizza 4 times. Twice at restaurants and twice at places selling by the slice. They were good, but Gnarly Girls is Superior. Would have to put it in the top 3 best I’ve ever had. So many varieties. And good selection of beer on tap. Owner and staff are always nice.

This was our first time here, and we wanted to try it because it’s very close to our house. I’m a New Yorker and pizza obsessed, and I’ve eaten it all across the country. I am in love with this place, and the food is fantastic. The garlic bites were perfect, and their pizza tasted terrific. They had enough sauce on theme, and the crust was cooked perfectly. The workers were very friendly, and it has a great 90s them. I honestly almost don’t want to post this because the secret will get out, but you should try it!

Great pizza (toppings are plentiful and evenly spread out, dough is yum), amazing knots (being able to pluck them right off your pizza is ), and other dishes we’ve tried have been great as well! Best of all- AMAZING service. Went to pickup our pizza order and there was an issue with the order. They not only re-made the pizza (perfectly), they gave us the “mistake” pizza too! AND we got a free dessert and soda while we waited. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Delicious pizza and cool atmosphere. It was pricey and parking was awful but I would visit again. The vibe was more of a slice shop but my takeout pie was ready quickly and tasted great when I got it home.

I was really looking forward to trying this pizza spot until I received very poor customer service. I entered gnarly an hour and 10 minutes before closing, asking to see a menu as my friends and I were going to dine in. The man behind the register was extremely blunt and rude, making me feel stupid as if I should have known their kitchen closes an hour before closing due to outside orders? Sorry-that’s not how a typical business works…No apology for the misunderstanding-no, please come back another time-
