Tonight we ordered Godfathers pizza birthday deal. We ordered a specialty BLT pizza. When the pizza arrived it didn’t have the lettuce. I called the store to let them know. He apologized as it was his first week working and didn’t realize the mistake. He had lettuce delivered right to us. He wrote a cute sorry and have a good night note on the lid, it really made us smile. Great service in a time that it’s hard to find.

I used to love this pizza but it has become mediocre at a high price. The new location is a huge improvement and they still have the “pinball” machine. That was the highlight, unfortunately.

The manager was such a bad temper and really bad attitude, all my daughter want was half pepperoni and half pine apple coz that was my grandkids likes to eat , so we waited and waited the pizza didn’t came and my daughter asked them what happened to her order ? Manager just told her to get out he’s restaurant, instead him making the right pizza he just got out of control.i have never ever seen a manager acted like that , it was very simple , my daughter bring the pizza back coz it was wrong pizza, he told her all kinds of bad language, so I went to to till him nicely and I told him he doesn’t have no right to scream and told my daughter get out the store or he will call a police , and he scream at me you too get out of my restaurant or he calls a cop with bad language,, I told him go ahead and call a cop , my daughter order is very simple , why can’t he make the right pizza..He is not a fit to be a manager , so to ask customer if you ever go there just be very careful with the manager that’s has a pony tail and has a mustache coz he is really really bad , I have a feelings he must be high or took a bad meds on that day.. coz if I was in he’s shoes ,I would just make the right pizza for my grandkids,

Not sure what all the reviews are about, but as always I tell and explain as I see it. The taste of the crust was a little off from what I am use to but there is plenty of topping on the pizzas. The customer service was really good considering how busy they are and being short staffed as we arrived. They were all apologetic and were very nice individuals. Only issue in my opinion is the taste of the crust being a little off. All in all a 4.5/5!.

TERRIBLE service! Waited for 1 hour for cheese breadsticks and a small humble pie. The last time I was here a couple of weeks ago, there was hardly any cause on the pizza and it had no taste! The pepperoni was really thin. I realize it takes time but have tried them twice now and don’t think I’ll be back!

Okay, Godfather’s is without a doubt one of the most overpriced pizza chains in our market, but my wife and I grew up with it in Iowa and wanted to revisit a little of that old nostalgia. Unfortunately, our desires were met with extremely rude staff, an incorrectly made pizza, and an unbelievable experience trying to get our order corrected. We ordered a half veggie, half combo, and breadsticks. The kid that brought the breadsticks to our table didn’t say a single word when he threw them on our table. And he then repeated the same level of service when he delivered our pizza to the table. As we looked at the pie, we were both asking, “Which half is which?” We could clearly see sausage on every piece. And as we poked around, we also found pepperoni on every piece. My wife took the pizza back up to the counter and this kid tried to convince her she was wrong. Flabbergasted, my wife said, “Okay, I guess I’ll just pick around it.” At that point, I returned the pizza back to the counter again while this kid ignored me for at least five minutes. When he finally came and spoke to me, I used my fork to show him that the pizza was made with meat on the whole pie. He finally asked if I wanted the pie remade and I said, “Yes, and please make the whole thing a veggie,” as I didn’t want to deal with this again and I wanted to make it as simple as I could for him. After this, we heard this kid and who I assume must have been the shift manager or the store manager screaming at each other in the kitchen about having to remake the pie for at least ten minutes. When he finally brought the new pie to our table, he again delivered it without a single word. Nobody, including the manager on duty, made any effort to speak to us, or offer any apology, refund, or coupons. So here’s my advice for anybody reading this review. Don’t waste your time or money with the Owatonna Godfather’s. You’d be better off throwing a bag of Totino’s Pizza Rolls in the microwave.
