Had a free medium pizza for my birthday so I decided to try out Godfathers pizza and I had an amazing experience! I accidentally ordered my pizza at the wrong location and the cashier was extremely friendly and understanding about it, even though they were about to close, and took good care of us. Pizza is my favorite food and I have worked at several pizza places but if you want a family-friendly pizza with good portion meat and cheese, come here! And I have to add, even the cook brought out the food when it was done and was super friendly. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you!

I am very impressed by the service and the food at this location. We came in fairly late, towards the end of the buffet time, and the hostess allowed us to order a pizza we wanted added to the buffet. Then, when it was ready, since no other customers were in the store, she brought us the whole pizza to our table. When we were done, she even sent the leftovers home with us (along with bread sticks from the buffet), since the store was closing shortly.

Went with a group of friends we ordered our pizza at the same time, they knew were sitting together. Our friends got all of their pizzas and we waited another 30 minutes our group was almost done eating we asked about ours. They said would be another 06 min. Well 20 minutes later the manager brought it over and was about to set it on the table. I asked for a Togo box because our party was ready to leave. Manager was rude. When he brought pizza back in a box my mother asked for a refund. He was rude but did give us a refund. Never apologized for the time. 1 LG pizza cost 26.00 was not worth it. Will not go back.

I hope this isn’t a waste of my time. I’ve noticed the repeat reviews of terrible customer service and similar experiences to mine. I was here to also write about my horrible experience at the Mission location, but it doesn’t seem to have any affect on how this store operates. My husband and I ordered 2 pizzas from this location. We do not live close, but we were willing to drive to pick up “good” pizza. When we returned home, we realized we had been given the wrong order. I called the store to notify them, expecting maybe an apology, offer to correct the pizza, or maybe even offer to deliver to make up for their mistake. The reply I received was “So, do you want us to remake it or what?” I was completely shocked. No apology or anything! I just said yes and headed back to the store in hopes of speaking to the manager when I arrived. I was only to be more disappointed when I learned that the person who “handled” my complaint on the phone WAS the store manager!!! I took my corrected pizza and asked for the corporate office’s phone number. I could not believe this was the person in charge. While I was waiting for this phone number, another woman in line asked me about my experience and told me she had awful service as well and wanted me to include that in my complaint! Unreal. After returning home, we tried eating our pizza, which looked correct this time. I did check it at Godfather’s before I left for the second time. Unfortunately, you cannot see what I can only guess was cinnamon sugar all over our pizza. I knew we shouldn’t have even tried to eat a remake from a place with such a bad reputation, but we were hungry. This, I will take blame for, but the rest is all on Godfather’s. I don’t feel this will make a difference to Godfather’s, seeing as how they have made zero changes even after several terrible reviews. But, hopefully, I can save the next potential customer from a night of disappointment. Don’t do it.

I called as I couldn’t figure out the online. The guy was accommodating and I thought my pizza was being delivered. As I waited and thought about the total…it dawned on me that he never asked delivery or carry out. Nor did I say from being frustrated. When I called to confirm delivery. Ken said it was there waiting. I was not able to pick it up. He just said “Okay” Never offered to deliver it. Guess they lost money and my business.

I used to live in Kansas City and came from 6 hours away to visit my family and have what I remembered as some awesome Godfather’s pizza. Its expensive, but hey I was trying to recreate some childhood memories. My mom called in the order and the people on the phone were short and rude to her. She drove nearly 30 minutes to pick it up and didn’t check it because she was also focusing on taking care of her granddaughter. She got home and found the order was very wrong but didn’t want to call since they’d been so rude. So I called and asked them if they could do something about it since it is VERY expensive pizza (as some other reviewers have noted). They said bring the pizza back to exchange and I said my large hungry older brother had already taken a slice. They were unwilling to budge and even short with me about it. A waste of $60 and ruined what I had planned to be something special for my family. Buyer beware.

Horrible! Sunday, March 1, 2015. Place is outdated, the workers know nothing about customer service. Pizza was just ok. Came for Godfathers pizza as i remembered from my youth. Forget it! Was told small pizza and salad as a combo was $15 total. I ordered it, then was told “corporate must have changed it today” now for both its $22. I couldn’t believe it! Salad bar needs updating and to be fresh. Wont get me again.

Haven’t eaten some Godfathers since i was 10 amd it still taste amazing. Just shared a meal and experience filled with a great atmosphere and awesome staff with my 2yr old daughter and wife. Definitely still my top favorite pizza joint.

It’s been an hour and 40 minutes and still no pizza. I called the store to ask about my delivery and was told” it just left the store. Ok did you know that you were 30+ minutes behind? Yes what do you want?” Absolutely nothing!! And now will drive to Minsky’s thank you for being such a smart ass on the phone and pushing business out the door. Great job!

I just had the worst fast food experience ever at this location. We ordered pizza online at 8:31pm on 03/29/2013 and after exactly one hour of waiting for a delivery that wasn’t even in the oven I decided to drive to the store to pick it up myself as the acting mgr. told my wife when she called that they were incredibly busy and only had one driver. Upon arriving at the store the mgr. was on the phone b/sing and seemed uninterested in solving my issue with bad service. The pizzas were grossly overpriced ($64.00 for 1 large & 2 medium) and they automatically included delivery fees and tip for the driver. The cook had a toothpick hanging out of his mouth and there was not a single customer in the store. To also note the store was filthy and very outdated. I waited as my pizza order wasn’t even in the oven and I finally got my pizzas handed to me at 9:54pm. Yes 1 hour 23 minutes later and they didn’t even have a single customer in the store. I might add when the driver did show up while my pizzas were being made and he was informed he wouldn’t need to deliver it he said within earshot of me the customer…”That’s a good thing”. Yes it is…as I am the customer and it is my money and at this time I don’t know what I would have said but I promise you it wouldn’t be nice. These guys seriously need to be revamped or closed down. They are way behind the times in good customer service,fair market value & cleanliness and I personally will never return and I hope who reads this does the same.
