I ordered takeout from here and this is the definition of a hidden gem. It’s down a hallway on the left inside of 1000 Brickell. I was expecting a hole in the wall but it’s a beautiful 4 seat counter space.

Really wonderful. Fish was good quality, chef and server were super courteous and they’re working hard to make the experience high quality. I received a couple complimentary items and I appreciated the gesture. They have a good blend of a new take on Japanese food while keeping it traditional and nuanced.

The Salmon Nashi was da bomb! Apparently sitting in front of the chefs is by invitation only. I was fortunate to know a friend who knows one of the owners and invited me down. The menu was à la carte compared to a lot of spots that wants you to pay for a certain amount for a course. Very reasonably priced and the quality is amazing. The best $60 I’ve ever spent in restaurant. I wish these guys lots of luck, they got a good thing going. Good thing I live in Brickell, I can have it every day lol.
