I ordered the halibut sandwich with garlic, french fries. It was the best halibut sandwich I have ever had! I ordered the waterfront salad as well, and it was amazing. Also! Everything was extremely delicious and very fresh! Definitely ordered the halibut sandwich!!!!

They haven’t updated the menu or the price online yet. Everything is noticeably more expensive, but this is the case pretty much everywhere. We had the salmon dinner entree with a creamy sauce. The salmon dinner was out-of-the-world delicious. The creamy sauce was very rich. The salmon was fresh and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries was a perfect appetizer. The whole experience was fantastic. Staff was friendly and food was great. Portion was very generous. I honestly didn’t have any room for dessert after finishing the whole dinner entree. I high recommend this place to anyone visiting Seward.

Gold Rush Bistro has become one of my favorite places to eat while in Seward. It’s a funky little spot with delicious eats. I’ve had their tacos, chowder, burger, and more. It’s conveniently located in downtown Seward, within walking distance to so many places!

Visited for lunch today and LOVED the clam chowder – best I’ve had in Alaska, yet! The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was ok, too salty for my taste. My husband ordered the salmon sandwich and enjoyed it. He wished there were more fries since they were really good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Nice ambience, Awesome food, friendly staff and excellent service. Veggie Burger was yummy with home made black bean patty. Waterfront salad tasted too good. Fries and Onion rings were fresh. Kids quesadilla was well made. Must try in Seward.

Fantastic veggie burger- definitely a homemade patty! My partner had the salmon burger with GF bun and said it was “the best GF bun I’ve ever eaten!” It’s on the pricey side for lunch, but at least it tasted good.

Incredibly delicious food! Creative menu that adds great flavor to typical seafood menu items. We had the sweet potato fries, the fish and chips and the seafood pasta. All three were amazing! I cannot recommend the fish and chips enough, maybe the best I’ve ever had!

We ordered the burger and the salmon items as well as the garden salad. The salad was delightfully fresh and the dishes were tasty and hearty. The energy drinks were also crisp and refreshing. This was one of the best places to eat during our time in Seward. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very clean.

Wonderful and friendly service that brought out the dishes promptly. All of the food that we ordered was excellent and fresh, from vegetables to seafood. I would highly recommend the Alaskan King Crab Leg, Halibut Tacos, and Veggie Quesadilla.
