I love there chili cheese fries ( gold star has a really nice touch of heat to it which is way better then skyline) skyline has a sweetness to it that I personally don’t agree with. Gold stars crinkle cut fries are alot bigger a holds onto the chili like they should unlike….you know anyways thanks for a great experience guys

THANK YOU!! This is the BEST Gold Star to go to. I’ve been there twice recently and it was so different from what it used to be. The customer service is amazing and the food was made so perfectly. I have visited this location for over 25 years. I would say the level of good service has been consistent. The food is as you would expect if you’ve had Gold star. My only gripe would be the prices as they have increased dramatically in the last 10 years.

Honestly if I could I’d give them a zero star review. Trying to order at the speaker was difficult the employee repeated back something wrong for everything I ordered, finally got the food ordered I ordered a chocolate shake on this order which had a ton of chocolate it tasted like straight up syrup, I asked for it to be fixed but was told that the hand blended shakes made from real ice cream just come like that in a cup and all they do is blend them. Them I was told if I had a problem not to come back. I don’t know guys what do think of the shake.

Set an alarm for 20 minutes and there was only one person at the ordering menu when I put in line. As I pulled in the parking lot I could see three if not four people just standing around not doing anything they may have been doing doordash or Uber Eats orders but the fact that I had to sit in the drive-through for 20 minutes was ridiculous you’re still not allowed to come in and eat and the dining area it’s drive-thru only which makes it more complicated

I’ve always favored Gold Star over Skyline in every product and I expected that nothing had changed over the years as I hadn’t been in a very long time. The atmosphere was rather dated, and the tables are very small. But I went with my dad just like we used to do when I was a kid and it was perfect for that. He got chili spaghetti and a chili cheese coney, and I got the chili mac and cheese. The waiter was really nice and laid back. Normally when I get my food, I ask for plastic cutlery because the silverware is dirty, but this wasn’t the case; everything was clean and free of water spots. I began eating and realized how much I loved Gold Star until I crunched down on something hard. I spit it out and find something on the napkin. I’m not sure what it was. I was able to split it in half, so it wasn’t bone. Maybe a hard gristle? I continued to eat my food despite my findings. My dad was very satisfied with his food. I think I was just unlucky, but I couldn’t possibly give a better rating. If it weren’t for that, I’d give it 5 stars.

Wow, so impressed. I walked in and was greeted immediately. The manager helped me decided what to eat, and put my bib on for me. I am so impressed with this food it’s unbelievable. I ended up with a 5 way and a coney. So so so delicous. I’m out out state from Colorado, and this exceeded my expectations 100%. Totally worth my 1.5 mile walk to get here. Thank y’all for welcoming me in and making me feel at home.
