I ordered through grubhub for delivery. The food got to me about 15 minutes earlier than expected. Very hot and freshly cooked food. I received everything I ordered, and the food was bagged nicely. Very tasty as well! Quick with getting orders out.

I normally drive past Skyline to go to Gold Star but the portion sizes of Amelia Gold Star will have me doing the opposite any time I’m around Amelia. I stopped today to get 2 regular 5 ways. The cheese and onion cups were about half full and chili/spaghetti containers were all about 2/3. $8 a piece and they had 2- 12 yr old girls wanting more after finishing them. Epic fail!!!

This location is pretty terrible. Past few visits have been all the same. Whether it’s busy or not, there is no sense of speed. You can be the only person in the drive thru and still sit there for 10 minutes. And then the food will come out looking just awful. Extremely sloppy and unappealing. Borderline unappetizing. The people at the drive thru window never ask about hot sauce or crackers and even when you ask them for it, they still don’t put it in the bag half of the time. Gave this location a few chances. Not worth it.

Every single time I come here this place gives me issues. The people working are TRASH and are miserable miserable people. I asked them one SIMPLE thing that every other gold star does for me and the manager would just refuse to do it. Their food is also trash, just pure grease & it doesn’t taste right. If I could give 0 starts I would. I’ll never be going there again! And they’re coneys are always soggy SMH

Place needs an upgrade on their drive through speaker . Twice my order was not right . Wrong food, forgot to put my cheese in bag for my threeway. Nice people just poor communication with drive thru. Check your order before you leave. Both times was my fault for NOT checking my order before I drove away.

Why do I still even try? Once again I thought I would try this location. It’s only 3 minutes from house. As on countless past attempts I ordered the vegetarian chili only to be told that they were out. Today it was only 6:20 pm. I asked why and was told they used the “last bag” this morning. The menu board proudly states the vegetarian chili as a menu staple and available. This location doesn’t treat it as such. I’ve asked at other locations about running out and was told they don’t run out and if they did they would prepare more. Cmon the manager needs to do a much better job in making sure she stocks and prepares enough veggie chili.

Food is subpar at best. Years ago this was a great place but today it’s like its just a bother to be in business. I never see the same servers which means a revolving door. The dinning room never reopened. There is a newer Gold Star about 3 miles west on down SR125 on your right.

I went there specifically to get one of the “famous” Goldstar burgers I’ve been hearing so much about. Only to find out that they don’t even sell them at that location. So I decided to try the “loaded” bacon chili cheese fries. They were terrible to say the least. They used generic bacon bits instead of real bacon. The portion was tiny for the price (about the equivalent of McDonald’s medium fries for $10). The only positive about the entire transaction was the cheese coney I ordered in place of the burger I was hoping for. It was excellent!!
