We’ve been to this Good Star several times and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You always see the same crew working which must say good things about the working environment. Food is always great and fast to arrive. My only complaint is the drive through lane is too short. Any more than 3 cars in line and you will have to wait in traffic to turn in.

There are fruit flies in the back everywhere. The worst part is there are fruit flies in the soda machine. Tiny roaches get on the bus carts. And get this. If your a waitress and u don’t clean the whole floor or even clean the edges right you get fired. Miss one day because you didn’t feel good. Get fired. Everything is put on he waitresses and don’t get paid enough. 100$ on a check. And it’s a billion dollar company. The only ones who get paid more is the drive through and the cooks. The waitresses don’t even get good tips. It’s sad. And should be closed. The owner is a amazing man. But he manager is a total a hole.

I’ve gotten gold star here alot but today I came to dine in and the food just wasn’t tasting right and 3 hours later me and my girlfriend are now throwing everything up after feeling sick from the food. I love gold star and would like to make this review so hopefully this issue gets resolved and whatever call the staff made to cause the food to not meet standards doesn’t happen again.

They we’re very nice! I had some questions and they answered them and they made me feel so comfortable. I got 4 different meals and they all was made just like I ask. But some restaurants, when you order to much food. They do mess up on something! But Gold Star chili in Western hills plaza, did a wonderful job! I pray next time I want some chili, they are the ones working. I may not remember names but I do remember faces. Thank you for being nice and patient!

It’s an old building but they keep it as clean as they can. Restrooms are clean. Food always comes hot and fast and tastes pretty good. Everyone’s pretty nice. Only problem is they tend to close the dining room on random days, I assume to give certain people days off. Once they sort that out I’ll update this to five stars.

Since today was Cincinnati chili day I have my crew in the van and said let’s go eat Gold Star Chili. The first place we went to on Colerain Avenue did not have an open dining room. The second place we went to on Mitchell Avenue was closed for remodeling. Hard to stay in business when you won’t serve your customers isn’t it. Total bull

My sister and I came to this restaurant. Our server was Chandler. She was extremely friendly and nice. Our food was wonderful and she offered us drinks to go. No complaints regarding her. However, the women’s restroom was absolutely disgusting. It smelled like death. There were bodily fluids on the toilet seat. Very unsanitary and the worst part of it all is the young lady with the burgendy colored hair was sitting on a stool when she could’ve been cleaning that restroom. The manager did tell her that she can’t be sitting while customers are in the restaurant. However, I felt that he should have pulled her in the back to talk to her about it privately. He was very unprofessional.

The service was nice and fast. The food wasn’t very good. The cheese Coney was greasy and full of bread and cheese with barely any hot dog or sauce. They didn’t put the lid on all the way on a kid’s three way and it leaked everywhere. Not a great experience and won’t be going back.
