Such friendly and warm people that work here. The menu is unique and has more sushi roll (maki) options than anywhere else I’ve seen, including some really creative special rolls. The quality of fish itself is nothing special but tastes fresh / not fishy. Also a nice variety of cooked dishes from teriyaki to udon noodles. Seems like they do a popular takeout business.

This probably was my worst take out experience in my whole life. I want to start by saying that the lady working there was very kind and pleasant. The food and timing of service were absolutely horrible. We waited an hour for our food with nobody inside the restaurant or 0 phone calls while we were there for Togo orders.

The service was amazing. The woman helping us was so warm and helpful. The meal was served on beautiful dishes with nice chopsticks. It’s something small but really left a wonderful impression. The ambience was unique but casual in the best way. And most importantly, I can’t stop thinking about how delicious the sushi was.

We were in the area for a quick meal with kids but found this treasure and loved every dishes. This is the first time my youngest finished the whole plate and the fried rice was so delicious. The Maguro Ninja was my favorite for sure, the spicy and freshness of the tuna were best combination. Miso and Tonkatsu ramen was a hit for our family too. We loved this place so much that we come back again before heading home. This will be our go to place for whenever we are in the area.

My friend and I stopped here for dinner after visiting Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, and we were so glad that we did. It was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had! The fish had a great texture and was very fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. Fairly reasonably priced for the portion size too which was a plus! Everyone who worked there was very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was very cute and quiet. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

This place is the hidden treasure. Food is so good, sushi is fresh and well made. Have eaten here a few times never got sick or anything like that. Staff is so sweet and friendly and not attention aggressive as in a regular American restaurant which I really appreciate coming from another country where servers don’t interrupt you every 10 minutes.

Been coming here since 2008, the sushi quality and preparation is among the best I’ve had in the state. Tin & Mabel provide excellent food, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere. A must try if you are a fan of sushi in Williamsburg.
