I had lunch at Golden 1 Restaurant with my family and we were very impressed by their food and service. The restaurant is located in the Neshaminy Mall and serves Asian fusion cuisine. We ordered the fried shrimp dumplings, plain lo mein, the chicken with cashew nuts, and the beef with vegetables. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and flavorful. The presentation was also very appealing and appetizing.

Food is delicious but the hibachi is extremely overpriced. I separated the steak from the shrimp so you can have the visual of what I received. 6 bite size pieces of steak and 4 pieces of shrimp for $18 is a slap in the face. It’s was $22.03 to have it delivered and I gave the driver $25 and told him to keep the change. Please work on portions. This is not worth it. I’ve been to other places that was delicious as well and gave a generous amount for around the same price. I was told by “Golden1” if I wanted more I had to pay more lol. They could’ve saved that mountain of rice and put the actual protein there and put the rice and broccoli in the smaller compartments which is how plating works. Again, food is delicious portions are terrible for hibachi.

Food was served hot, quickly, and delicious! And plentiful too…had enough for lunch the next day. Hubby enjoyed it, too. Even their salad dressing was delicious. We will definitely go back again. I ordered the shrimp hibachi dinner, which came with a delicious sauce, and hubby ordered the shrimps and scallops in garlic sauce. Very flavorful!

The woman serving us was great. The place was clean but nothing fancy. My main dish was good, seemed fresh. The rice was a little mushy but my only real complaint was that I had to ask for the hard noodles that you usually get before the meal, and they were in a bag and very low quality. I also had to pay for my hot tea, which I’ve never had to at any Chinese restaurant that I’ve ever been to.

We have eaten here before and it was delicious. NOT THIS TIME! Worse Chinese food i have ever had. Egg rolls were not crispy at all. Like not cooked. Dumplings were soggy. Tasted like dry flour. Lo mein was bland.
