If you were looking for a sign telling you to try them, this is your sign. Go there! I love breakfast and they do breakfast well. Even the orange juice is amazing. It tastes like a real orange. I’ve dined at this establishment more times than I should admit and I’ve never been disappointed. There’s always enough to take home as well. Incredibly charming and clean place for breakfast/lunch. The crepes outta this world and you have many choices in either sweet OR savory category. The meat lovers skillet was incredible. We both had so much food leftover we boxed up and had for lunch on our road trip continuing across the midwest. Highly recommend!

Very busy place. Walked in it was 2 other families ahead of us. I asked how long the wait he said 10 minutes in my head I was like yea ok. We waited 15 minutes not long at all. Seating was pretty quick for a busy restaurant. Restaurant was clean. Service was great. Golden bear is a pricey restaurant. I ordered the Philly steak omelette add spinach with jalapenos on the side, avocado, side of wheat toast and cheese grits. I also ordered the crab cakes small but delicious. My nephew ordered a strawberry and banana smoothie which wasn’t blended well turned out to be a regular drink. He ordered a Philly steak omelette with cheese grits and strawberry banana waffle. I went to the restroom it was clean but I had a hard time with the automatic soap dispenser and paper towels. They also have a police on duty so don’t go there on BS. By time I went back to the table all the food was there quick service everything was delicious. Gratuity is automatically. My bill was $81 never paid that much for breakfast but it was good. I left a satisfied customer.

First and last visit. Upon arrival received a nice greeting from several staff members. We were immediately seated. The restaurant was clean, but I hate carpeted restaurants I think they breed bacteria and its just not a good mix where food is being served constantly. It wasn’t crowded, but there were people throughout. Once we sat down with menus still laying on the table we were asked if we were ready to order? I politely said we just sat down we haven’t had a chance to look over the menu. The gentleman left and said take yr time and then didn’t return for quite some time. We ordered our food it came back quickly fresh, hot and wrong! The food was not good with the exception of the bacon, and the coffee was even worse hot and bitter. We wanted to visit for ourselves after reading all the positive reviews, but were thoroughly disappointed. I consider myself a fair and good tipper, but I don’t like that they add a 20% gratuity automatically to your bill, so even if you don’t receive good customer service or adequate customer service they get a nice tip. It was a pricy experience but one we won’t be having again.

This breakfast place is the bomb everything is SUPER CLEAN AND NEAT. The food was amazing We had apple pancakes cinnamon roll French toast, garden omelette, meat lovers omelette and the grits are so creamy The coffee comes in a tall mug which is two cups. Just went there for the second time. Disappointed with the service we got from our waiter. He has a don’t care attitude, mumbled the whole time, and was in such a hurry (that my fiance barely was able to order a rasp tea) when he was already walking away. Everything was delicious especially the OJ but the eggs weren’t. They lacked flavor. We dislike the automatic 18% gratuity applied because our waiter did not deserve that. These reviews sound super fake. If you notice, they all have the same pattern and perfect spelling.
