First time visiting this establishment and right away I realized how overpriced they were compared to other places. I ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls and one order of chicken wings it was 17.33! To only have a Shrimp egg roll with one shrimp probably cut into 2 pieces!!!! It was awful! Chicken wings for 11 dollars that were dry and no taste! you’re better off going to a pizza spot. Never Again will I even think to give this place my money!

I did a take out order and thought I had called the spot around the corner from my mom only to find out my error. They called me and helped me to find them and then thanked me for showing up…I was confused but appreciate the thanks and we did the no thank you back and forth for a couple seconds. I liked how the young lady decided that she couldn’t understand me at one point and had another person take over instead of making things uncomfortable….very nice people

I love Chinese food and could eat it 24/7. That being said, Golden Bird provides us with very delicious meals. My husband always orders General Tso’s chicken and I order a noodle or seafood dish. I have been happy with every order. (I order online to prevent any misunderstanding over the phone, in case you are wondering if they ever get my orders wrong.) I enjoyed going there with the previous owner (who is still working there part time) and the new owner (very friendly). They added new dishes that were not on the previous menu.

I was disappointed to hear the last owners retired, but decided to order. I looked over menu to see prices jacked. My favorite has always been the boneless spares ribs, almost $17.00 for a large order. Got home and was excited to taste it. The sauce delicious, but as I went through it, all of it most mostly pure fat. My crab Rangoon had maybe a dime size amount in it, for almost $8,00 for 12. This picture is the pure fat and pretty much our whole meal.

Very good Chinese food. Far better than the place up the road in Burnt Hills. The egg rolls are good, the lo mein has generous amounts of roast pork, and there is no fake “seafood” product in the shrimp dishes. Its the real thing. Very clean and neat inside the restaurant as well. Friendly staff.

We always ordered from the Golden Bird and loved it. We were excited to hear that a new owner took over and decided to give it a try. The vegetables were large pieces, hardly cut up, nothing like the previous chef. The egg role was so hard I couldn’t even eat it! We’ll give it one more try, hopefully it will be better! Sorry I couldn’t give you a better review!
