First time, last time. The fried food was soggy; the pan-fried dumplings are made with wonton wrappers (not dough) like amateurs would use and fried in a dirty pan; and the spicy pork with vegetables was ALL onions, 3 strips of green pepper and probably 1 ounce of pork (see photo) and was NOT SPICY. Where was the broccoli, mushrooms, etc? My husband ate his chicken chow mein because he was starving. We were so hopeful but it ended up being a waste of money.

Ordered out tonight for a change, and don’t get me wrong the Golden Bowl is my go to and also meats has been. Tonight I got my usual, Mongolian beef, I was extremely upset to find out I paid $12 for onions… there was little to no protein whatsoever. Please look for yourself

I typically find, “Hit or Miss” more prevalent with Chinese food restaurants than other types of restaurants. (Probably just me). Anyhow, The Golden Bowl is consistently very good. Had take-out from here many times. Some days are better than others but never a time when we said, “Well,… that was dreadful”. Even in times when they are exceptionally busy the staff finds a way to be cordial and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Haven’t visited since 2010. New people I guess. The guy with the earring was rude , very rude,but I noticed when wht ppl came in he greeted them and was kind. He even add a tip to my 21.65 total. Bank statement said 27.31. Knowing I didn’t tip him. Never will return. That’s why I travel to Summerville to Pagoda. Food is way better and not greasy and they know how to treat people regardless of color!!!!
