If you’re looking for a tasty, affordable, and generally no-frills breakfast, this is a good place to go. Service was very fast and the ladies working the day we went were both friendly. I got french toast and bacon and my husband got the same but with eggs as well. The french toast was good, the bacon was crispy, and the eggs were done just right. Overall nothing fancy— everything we got was fairly basic and not too different from what we could make at home (for example the french toast looks like it was made from basic sliced bread from a bag). However, if you have a family with picky eaters who prefer simplicity, this is definitely a good choice. Portion sizes were just right for us. The menu had a wide variety of options so everyone in a larger group should be able to find something enjoyable.

The food was so amazing. I couldn’t wait to leave a review. Service was great from the time i walked in until i left. I love how they incorporate vegetables in the dishes and sandwiches. Very reasonable prices. I was very happy leaving out. I will always be back. If your visiting Savannah or from here see about Golden Breakfast. I highly recommend.

Golden breakfast was such a nice surprise! It’s a hidden gem for sure. I ordered the seafood omelette and my husband got some normal breakfast (eggs bacon hash browns toast). He really likes the shredded hash browns, crispy. This place was just up our alley. Apparently it’s a local favorite and we got there at just the right time. There was barely anyone there when we ordered, and within 10 minutes it was completely full! The one and only waitress there was a rockstar. She quickly and efficiently handled everyone like a time management diva! Great food with a smile. We will go back for breakfast again!

Sunrise Restaurant, omelette cafe, locs chicken and waffles, sunnyside up, omelet house, Golden Breakfast, Breakfast Place, and I’m sure I’m missing another. They are all Exactly the same. Look at the menus..identical! All with the triple crown omelette and other choices. I love how people in Savannah brag about knowing the best breakfast place and choose one of these and talk down on another one….when they are exactly the same! Nothing special.. just a chain restaurant with different names. Eggs on a griddle…that’s it. Very simple. Decent food but nothing special.
