I ordered hunan beef and my girlfriend ordered the hunan shrimp dish and I am highly disappointed. Of what beef I could get was good and the egg roll was alright but my dish was composed of 3% beef, 2% carrots/snow peas/mushrooms and 95% onion. It seemed like two whole onions were used per dish and hardly any “chinese vegetables”. Hunan dishes are also supposed to be spicy and ours weren’t. At all, not even the slightest. I’m upset that I had to pay for this. The atmosphere was great and the service was good but the food is what brought me here and we don’t know if we’re ever coming back to Golden Buddha.

Absolutely love this place. I always call my order in because I live 15 minutes away & my food is always fresh & done by the time I get there & the food is still hot by the time I get home, they are super friendly & fairly priced. Only thing I don’t like is the price of crabragoon it’s $9 for 6 b4 taxes so after taxes it’s like $10. Anywhere else I can get 7 crabragoon for $3 to $4. $9 is way too high

We just picked up food and got home. 2 Egg soup, crab ragoon, and green pepper steak. Some people may had different experiences here but my dad and I come here almost 3 times a month and they refer us by our name. I like how comforting this place is for us. I wouldn’t trust any other chinese restaurants in the area. We went to one a little out of town and got dim sum and got sick the next day.

It was awful and one meal ended up in the bag like the container wasn’t shut and all the other meals were perfectly fine in container. BUT we got accused of driving recklessly and dumped one whole meal out of its container!!!! The people are the rudest person I ever spoken too after bringing food home and it was one heck of a mess. The grease is definitely very old! If you like your food cooked so hard you can’t eat or you don’t care to eat out of a to go “ bag” this is your place. She hung up on me when I asked you can’t replace the one meal. Never never again! Taste like dirty and old. She said it’s cooked to order well take the chicken and spring rolls out of the deep fryer so you can bite into what you bought to eat. Just horrible

Last time I dined in, spent over $14. Moo Goo Gai Pan & drink. Went to China Castle on 3rd street & paid $11.66. Didn’t know how good that dish could taste til then!!! The Golden Budda version is plain, boring & over priced.
