My husband & I arrived at 11:05am today & ordered. When we got our cups & went to get ice, notice the drain area was dirty. Ice cream machine was dirty. After looking around, it appeared the dining area had not been cleaned, nor had anyone wiped tables down. Crumbs on tables. Food & trash on floor. Floor did not look like it had been sqept or mopped in quite a while. Men’s bathroom was out of order. Women’s bathroom, door doesn’t shut, lights were out & no towels.

Don’t go there! A few years ago, my family and I would travel through Sulphur quite frequently. We would all look forward to stopping at Golden Chick. Great Food. Great Service. Last evening we were passing through Sulphur and looked forward to stopping and eating at the G. C. Alas, the Golden Chick should now be renamed to the Dirt Chick. Nothing golden about this place anymore. We ordered the 2 piece fish with 3 shrimp and a 3 piece chicken dinner. See photos. All of this for 25 bucks. The 2 pieces of fish are smaller than the shrimp and were mostly batter, not fish. The chicken “leg” was more like a wing stump. They must be raising miniature chickens around here some place. Sorry to say, Golden Chicken has been removed from my list of establishments to visit.

No toilet paper or paper towels in bathroom, dirty bathroom and dining area, poor customer service, rude, hateful. Dinner roll was smashed, wings were old, no ketchup, sauce was not offered, nor was I offer a choice between plain or spicy chicken. NASTY PLACE TO EAT!

If they have checken it’s almost always tast like it’s been sitting out most of the day the rolls where flattend and over cooked and since when do we have to fiscally go in side the building to pick up a mobile order it’s BULL it’s called mobile for a reason!!! 15 mixed cost me over $50 so not worth it!! There wasn’t even enough gravy for 2 let alone family meal

How do you burn the baked chicken. All tables out front where dirty. Had to wipe our table myself. They didn’t have some menu items. The lady said nobody has made it. It is 1:30pm why? Sorry to say the worst Golden Chick I have ever stopped at. They need to go to Guthrie, OK for more training on how to cook and conduct themselves.

Just close it down. I paid $27 for my order. They were out of numerous items so I ordered what they weren’t out of. The majority of the order was wrong and the other part of the order was cold or missing items. I made a complaint about 2 weeks ago but they don’t do anything. Save your time and money.

Absolutely nasty condition. Bathroom too disgusting to wash hands in even IF they did have soap, which they DID NOT in man nor women’s. Feces scattered inside toilet. I told an employee and she said “I am on break”. .

Awful. They were out of legs, okra & cup lids. They had 2 thighs. The dirty rice was like brown mushy potatoes. The chicken tenders were over cooked. The best things were the french fries & sodas. The staff was rude!!!!! Inside trash cans were full to the brim. Not sure how they have good ratings.

We decided to give this place “another chance”. What a sad mistake. $28 (for 2 people). I know it was later (around 7ish) in the evening, but the chicken tenders were rubbery & the soda was watered down. The okra was delicious & the employees were friendly (reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one).

1 Star ONLY because the food tasted good. From the time I walked in door I was less than impressed. I ordered at 11:45a so I don’t think it was from a rush of people. The floor was disgusting at the front counter (later seen behind the counter as well), the employee was less than enthused to be there (not rude but definitely not customer service oriented), The tea counter and soda fountain were nasty. I will add photos, you have to zoom in to see but look at the hot roll steamer glass, the counter with tea canisters and the soda fountain. I will say the food was hot and fresh and that’s why I gave 1 Star. I definitely will not go back and yes, I shared my thoughts with the number provided
