I came for lunch and I wasn’t disappointed. The store was very clean and the staff was friendly. Chicken was good, mashed potatoes were great! Roll was perfect. They also have free ice cream for dine- in only guest.

I ordered the new Nashville spicy chicken sandwich and as of now, it competes with the poppyes spicy chicken chicken sandwich! I’ll have to eat 1 or 2 more before I decide if it truly is better. The sandwich was hot and has a sweet and spicy flavor. Good size for its price ($5.49). The person who took our drive through order was very nice and we got our food quickly.

Trapped Under Icing
Do NOT order here. Order at the Trinity Mills location. A 25-count family meal is $20 more at this location than at the location on Trinity Mills. I don’t know how a 3.1 mile difference could possibly equal a $20 price difference. And the complimentary condiments are $0.55. I think whoever is setting the prices didn’t check their dictionary.

The white lady who was working is rude and disrespectful she is also racist too. I was picking up an Uber eats order. I had to wait a little bit to get the order which I don’t mind. It’s her service after is what has me mad. First off she yell the customer name which she didn’t have to cause I was 8 ft from her. She said let me see your phone to confirm the name in a rude manner. I showed it to her and as I was leaving she threw the customer food. Like if you don’t like your job quit. You don’t have to have an attitude she also said under her breath this is why I don’t like black people. I will not be accepting any requests from here moving forward till something is done with her. Cause she is rude and disrespectful. And obviously don’t like her job.

The fish was recooked and soo hard. Even the roll was hard. Grease was all in my bag all over everything. I tried to call and they never answer the phone. Stay away from this location.

I keep having bad experiences each time I go to this restaurant. Again, something was missing from my order last night but this is the first time I brought it to their attention when I could. Last night I ordered a 9 wicked wing combo-extra spicy. When I got home, my husband told me that 3 wings were missing. I called the restaurant immediately, and no one answered (4 times) which wasn’t surprising due to them getting busy around 10p and I had to wait at the window 20 minutes for my order. Today, I go to get him another 6 wicked wings extra spicy and the black girl charged him for the “extra spice” which is weird cause no other Golden Chick or anyone else at this location does this. I brought the issue to their attention that wings were missing, and it was like she couldn’t wait to say, “We can’t do anything about that, you should have told us that last night and that’s what my manager said” whom was also yelling it to her from the kitchen. Well I proceeded to say to her and her manager, “I tried to inform you last night (same manager) but no one answered when I called (4 times)”! Given that I stay on Old Denton RD and Windhaven, I did not want to drive back cause of this small issue. Yes this issue is small to leave a review for, but that’s not the reason I’m leaving a review now. I’m leaving the review now because of multiple issues I’ve experienced with this location, one being my issue with the young black lady’s delivery of her customer service and her charging for things that aren’t normally charged for. She charges for extra sauces and seasonings, which is the rarest of rare (see receipts). And bottom line, I’m soooo tired of having things missing from my order and being charged more for little things like complimentary condiments. In times where we are all trying to save money, eatting out is something that should meet all expectations if not more. After spending 27 dollars on a meal that once was 18 dollars pre covid. There should be the same level of service if not more. I arrive and the doors where locked (that should have been my first clue something was wrong) I go through the drive through and order a waste of my hard earned money on a eight piece and rice. Burnt rice and old chicken is what I got. It was so bad, it felt as if they had been cooking it all day and it was the bottom of the pan. Just discussing! And the chicken was luke warm at best.I know management or corporate won’t reply back so I’m okay with that next time I’ll just go to Popeye.

I purchased the chicken wing basket. I asked for barbecue sauce, given one for all those fries and 6 pieces wings. The fries were cold. No ketchup given. I understand what’s wrong with these cashier who work the drive thru. They have no patience and professionalism.

We were placing our order (total $30.00) & the lady tending to drive-thru was just so kind, patient, respectful (which is so hard to find these days).
