Haven’t had Golden Chick in awhile a decided stop at I 30 N Beltline. Placed my ordered and two cars in front. Get up to the window wrong order repeated. Communication is the best ingredient to ordering food. Bi- bilingual is required at most places. Loved working for the franchise under self-ownership. But customer service has to get better with doing your job with the best you should be for the job you apply for. Like Nike says ” Just Do It” your job that is.

The service was top notch. Honestly that’s what caught me off guard. We are used to go to fast food places and receive bad service from employees. But it’s was very gratifying and nice to get such good service. Oh and let’s not forget the food. Cooked when order. Really like this place. Kudos to all working there keep it up.

Imagine going to a wing place and ordering wings and than they say, we ran out. We’ll this is that place. I ordered chicken from a chicken place and I was told they ran out. No other explanation, didn’t explain nothing. A simple. Oh we ran out. I said to the lady, how does a chicken place run out of chicken. She sounded annoyed and said we can make more the wait time is 30 min. I said I would wait and she didn’t seem happy at all. Had I never asked anything further, they would have expected me to just drive away. Cane back the following week and they ran out of mashpotatoes. No one mentioned anything after that. I had to say to them, how long is the wait. Lol this place I feel like they don’t want your business because they don’t want to work, they just want to say they ran out and hopefully you drive away. They seen gave me an opened gallon sweet tea. It was smashed on the side. Don’t think I’ll re-visit this one.

My husband went after work about 9:30. He order a 4 piece meal and asked to change the thigh for a breast and was charged for it. Got home and it was wrong. He called and asked for the manager and it was the lady who helped him. He did not ask for anything other then to please pay attention next time and she got upset and said she thought he wanted the thigh and hung up on him. Way to provide customer service! We have got to do better.

Asked for my chicken extra crispy because usually it’s a little undercooked. I’m slightly picky regarding chicken. But I was super polite, no other cars were in line and if they were I wouldn’t of minded waiting and letting them receive theirs first. Anyways the guy at the front kept giving me this grin and we waited about 5 mins or so didn’t think anything of it and got our food and went home. The chicken was cold. Definitely not extra crispy. Definitely old pieces and also the wrong sides. We paid over $40. And I didn’t want to go back or even contact that location because it seemed very spiteful, like they were upset I was asking for fresh chicken. I know it takes extra time and they have a lot of people to serve but it felt very ill intented and I won’t be going back, especially since nobody else was even in line!
