We had a surprisingly good lunch there recently. She had the 3 shrimp meal and I had the fish and shrimp meal. The food was hot the fries and okra were great. Even the rolls were tasty. I don’t know if all the Golden Chicks are as good, but this location was great. We’ll be back.

I visited the Golden Chick in Rowlett on Lakeview and I was impressed. Ezekiel and Katie were patient and kind. I misread something on the sign and the offered to go out and check it. I could be wrong, but I could swear that the chicken salad sandwich used to have shredded chicken. The chicken was all in chunks, and in only 3 bites, I bit into two pieces of cartilage or whatever that is. I don’t know about you, but when that happens to me it’s over. Straight in the trash.

Every single time I go through the drive thru, they always forget something!! Every single time. The chicken and the rolls tastes like it has been sitting out for days. The fries and the corn nuggets are good though.

Great combo options to choose from as well as the sides. The chicken is juicy and had a great flavor. I also enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. My other favorite is that they have Big Red in the fountain. They also offer free icecream but during our visit, the machine was broken.

It’s 9:04 , online it says that they close at nine or 10:30 . On the actual door, it says they close at 10:30 . However they were closed in the dining room . And the man was super rude (looks like a manager) .

Had problems with a delivery order of 160.00 to be delivered to Best Buy in Rockwall. Called 10 times to try and talk to someone about my delivery order and no one would answer the phone. This happened on August 13 at about 1:30. Because no one answered the phone they lost a 160.00 order of Chicken Tenders.

Drove from Rockwall and the teenagers running this place decided they’d close the dining area an hour and a half early. Just drove off after we went to door and it was locked. The little girl waved her arm in a circle indicating for me to go through the drive thru. Unacceptable. I would be very mad if I owned this establishment and found out my business was being closed early. They have their hours of operation clearly posted on the door 10am-10pm. Nothing says dining closes at 8:30pm. Won’t be back.
