I come in here almost everyday and get 2 big and golden combos. Everyday I’m in here I get treated the best I ever have in any fast food joint. Ladonna is always smiling and eager to help. The food is always fresh and hot. The employees are nice and always up for a good chat. Definitely recommend eating here!

First time ever trying out a Golden Chick. Honestly thought it was going to be like a Chicken Express, and was completely wrong, this place is way better. As soon as you come in the place is immaculate, so clean and well kept. The counter girl Ladonna greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, she went through the trouble of explaining almost all the items on the menu without getting irritated for all our questions. One of the guys that cook, Shawn, even came and checked, how we were doing, if we liked it, and asked if theyre is anything they could do to make our visit better. Spoke with the kids for a second on how the food cooking and preparation was done. It just honestly felt like the whole team cared. Been a long time since we’ve had service like this and we will definitely be back for the food and the service. Thank y’all very much Golden Chick,you have one hell of a crew working for you!

Food has been great every time. Other than one incident where the mashed potatoes didn’t taste right, they have been very consistent. The restaurant manager is very sweet. The only thing that I will say is that I wish their tenders didn’t have as much batter on them. I feel like the tenders are more crispy batter than chicken. It can be a little difficult at times to chew. Overall, it is a great place to get a family meal if you don’t feel like cooking!

The food has always been good until now. Ordered a three piece which consisted of a leg, thigh, and wing including two sides. I get three legs and one side. On the same order I ordered another one just like it and only received one side. Plus they ran out of chicken so I had to substitute with something else. Usually when we order here we have no complaints. This time however is a totally different story. We ordered the family meal. The chicken was good as usual, but the sides were found wanting. The mashed potatoes were very runny, and the gravy was like water, or milk. We ordered a salad with it and the lettuce was wilted. I don’t understand Golden Chick what happened?

Don’t waste your money or time ordering the new chicken sandwich. First, the chicken basically had no crispness to the batter and I initially thought I was eating a grilled chicken sandwich. I’ve eaten chicken sandwiches from Popeye’s (1) Chick-fil-A (2) and KFC (3) and Golden Chic was by far rated #4 and the worst of the bunch. The actual quality of the chicken breast was less than average where bites of the chicken shredded as you bit into the sandwich. To be fair my son ordered spicy chicken strips and he said they were very tasty.

I placed a pickup order through doordash about a week ago, night time. The food was not fresh at all and the order smelled of dirty cleaning water. I ordered the 9 piece wings with fries and a chicken sandwich. Instead, I got 6 wings, 2 tenders and one itty bitty wing that was burnt.. the chicken sandwich was also not fresh. I threw away the order. Nothing was worth eating at that point. Immediately, I call the store to explain my experience and that manager seemed nice and told us to come back because he didn’t have any wings left for the night. No problem. I come back tonight and I received the same exact mess I picked up the first time. The package smelled of dirty cleaning water and the wings were old and almost cool to the touch. They looked reheated. The chicken sandwich was old as well. I took it back inside and told them I wouldn’t return. This place used to be good. I don’t know why they have yanked so badly over the last year.

I had this stuff three times in the past couple weeks. It was amazing twice and pretty good the other time. Very friendly young man working the drive thru. I got the baked chicken, dirty rice, Mac and cheese, and French fries. Mac and cheese was good for store bought. French fries were very good. Chicken is great, but one time all of the pieces were very small. The other two times, they were large and plump. I really like this place when it is on point.
