Golden Chicken oh the name says it all a type of chicken they cannot eat just dance in your mouth great tanks hot and fresh this was my experience here. Every unique chicken chain has its own unique flavor you as a consumer must be willing to reach out and taste out. I’m not sure how far outside of Texas this chicken chain reaches but if you ever get an opportunity give it a try.

If I could give this location negative stars, I most definitely would. Ordered 9pc wings and I had to wait not too long, received the food and the only thing that was hot were the fries and the roll the wings were lamp warm. Asked for fresh chicked Olivia (drive-thru) went & told her colleague (guess it had to get approved first), came back and said it would be 10 mins. Me, that’s fine no problem. She went back and told Paris & they started laughing. So I decided to go wait in the inside. Whit waiting Sarah comes and looks at the salads (assuming for inventory). She had on gloves and she rubbed her ponytail, I watched her go back to her station to finish prepping the salads and NOT change the gloves. I stood up and spoke on it. Sarah started laughing as if I was wrong. The “manager” Paris finally decided to tell her to change her gloves. Like I told him, if employees do this when customers are here what do you all do when we’re not around. Informed him that if I worked in the food industry a lot of restaurants in this town would be closed down! Not only their customer service is beyond horrible, the food is below average. Still waiting for my chicken I’m complaining about the service and “Paris” says oh I can kick you out, I say okay give me a refund. He goes to get my refund and throws my money on the counter, I told him to count it back if he’s returning money to a customer you should always count it back. He says, I can can count 10,11, .75 and some more change. That is not counting, and I asked again of you know how to count, count it back. He repeats himself (obviously he can’t count)! I’m still complaining and he says, I’ll call the cops, me okay and. I asked for the manager which he said quit, and informed him there is someone over the store. He says Terri (Terry) is the manager and it’s his cousin. Oh, so that’s why you talk to customers the way you do because you think you’re untouchable and you can’t get fired. Keep speaking to customers like that, calling me a brat lmao never called them names. But words do not hurt, I just agreed with him. Calling me a brat because customer service sucks, you as a “manager” suck, employee got caught not changing gloves, so you’re mad.

I got the 9 piece limited time offer and so glad I did! Terrie and her staff treated me with excellent customer service and gave me a run down of the different sides and how long the roasted chicken would take. I sincerely appreciate kind and honest people, especially those in the service industry who don’t get enough respect and appreciation from the mainstream public in general in my honest opinion. I got home and the food is delicious!! I’m so glad people like Terrie take of their customers as we will continue to come back. I hope they recognized for their efforts, being understaffed most likely and still delivering a fantastic fast food experience! Thank you Terrie, good energy always!

This was my first time eating here. The fried chicken was good. It was hot and crispy. At the window the cashier explained they were waiting for my okra to cook. As soon as I got it I took a bite of it. It was not hot and tasted like it been under the heat lamp for a few hours. The rest of the food including the hot roll was delicious. The cashier was super friendly and I even gave her a tip. I appreciate it when they at least say Hi, but she was super friendly. I will go back but probably won’t get the okra.

tried the new fish combos yesterday…paid 30$ and some change for 2 meals…the fish was not good…tasted watery ..not cooked long enough I think ..lots of money for some food I didn’t even eat. never again!

I’ve lived in Angelo for over 20 years, and not once have I eaten inside this Golden Chick. But it was super nice and very clean. Food, as usual was really good. Fried chicken, tenders, okra, and corn nuggets- so good. The employees were doing work, and very nice & polite and busting their butts. Also, if you eat inside, they have complementary soft serve!
