Golden Chick’s chicken is good, drive through is the way to go in Del Rio. The service, set up, and processing of online/app orders is awful. Don’t waste your time with it. This place needs a better process inside for pick-up orders and a manager who can get the staff operating more efficiently.

Run away! Run away far and fast! Staff are nice, but food is cooked in old grease without seasoning. Can’t believe anyone here buys this. Worse tasting chicken in the world. No exaggeration. So unless you want to destroy your stomach, run!

Good food and selection. Drive thru folks: make sure your order is right and double check everything in the bag. They didn’t ask drink size or what sauce for my tenders. Had to repeat my drink order 3 times, no utensils. Everyone was confused and slow.

We decided to try after remodel and sorry we did. The order was wrong for us and person ahead of us. Thanks to the gentleman who fixed it. The food was fresh but just bad quality, not good meat, wings have no meat, the bun was rock hard. For the price, still not worth it. It’s worth turning into a church’s instead.

Went today since it finally opened. 1. The drive thru is not the smartest for it being brand new. 2. I waited 35 minutes for two 6 piece tenders and all the other cars on the other waiting lanes kept on passing. 3. I ordered a side of jalapeño poppers and got fries. 4. They repeated that the sauce I wanted it with was ranch and I didn’t get it on any of my orders. 5. One of my drinks tasted very funny like chemicals.
