Sunday, August 22,2023,6:30 pm I visited Golden Chick for my first time. I ignored the poor reviews and gave them a shot.I ordered 12 peice fried with mash and gravy macaroni a d cheese with 4 rolls. Total Cost $48.70 which is a bit pricey compared to other chains.. I drove 15 minutes back home to find there was no gravy for the mash and no rolls. I called and asked to speak to the manager, and the person that answered the phone said they were the manager on duty.. I kindly explained the issues I had and that this was my first time trying Golden Chick, and I was disappointed that this happened. The manager asked if I was coming back, and I replied no. I’m not coming back tonight. I’m expecting to hear I’ll take your name and make it up to you on your next visit. I hear again how can I help you. I said I guess you can’t help me. I’ll just leave a bad review like everyone else has. The manager now asked me why did you call if there is nothing I could help you with? I said because you need to know! The manager hung up the phone. The chicken and Mac were delicious. If I have an opportunity to try a different location, I will. I assure you I will not be back to this location.

My experience was absolutely phenomenal. The woman working the window by the name of Britney, was very friendly and courteous. She greeted me with an energetic “Welcome to Golden Chic”, she gave me her full attention while taking my order, and she made sure that my order was complete before handing the bag with my order to me.. Then her farewell was a happy “Thank you for choosing Golden Chic. Have a good night.”

I’ve had water thicker than the gravy they gave me. Also, I asked for spicy tenders , and when I called and asked the manager about how they apply the seasoning she said they just dump it on top of the pieces in the box. Regardless if they coat all the pieces. Then she was rude about me telling her they need to take more pride in their work. I will starve before I frequent another golden chick. And on top of that, they forgot one of my sides. So my $50 would of been better spent buying frozen pizzas

Wonderful food. Spicy chicken tenders that made me lick my finger, gravy just like grandma’s and dirty rice, taste like it was straight out of Louisiana. Fast service. It was ready before I was done paying. The ladies there made me feel like I was part of the family. I will be going back again.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Got all the way home to realize my fries were missing so I went all the back and asked for a refund which was REFUSED. General manager and “manager” acted like I stole the fries. Said I ordered 30 mins before I came back. I live 10 mins away and had to wait a ridiculously long time for disgusting trash food. When I returned and asked for the manager the employee working sent another EMPLOYEE to talk to me instead of the real manager who only came when she realized I wanted a refund. Completely unprofessional I see why there was no other customers there at 7pm on a Saturday night. Need new management and employees.
