We got the ribs and chicken deal and were well worth it. We got mac and cheese as a side with some cheddar cheese balls and some breaded mushrooms. Everything was hot and fresh when we picked it up, and we had enough for leftovers. Now I’ve had their chicken before, so I already knew it was good but had never tried the ribs, and they were so tender and flavorful. I was expecting a small portion, but thru gave us plenty! Will def be going back and would def recommend it to anyone!

When ordering from here, I order Takeout or Delivery. Been eating at this staple for decades, yes, decades. Taste has changed a bit, but its still ok. Chicken, fries, shrimp, Bbq Ribs, Steak, etc. Get my comfort foods here.

My phone was on the charger and because I didn’t answer the driver did not even bother ringing my doorbell or delivering my food Mike the manager is unprofessional said I should have answered my phone so in 2023 doorbells and knocking is non-existent horrible service sad how they treat loyal customers

If you want fried chicken there is only one place I go. That’s Golden Chicken! I just was delivered a fried chicken dinner (even 25 min early from the projected time). It is hot, delicious, fresh and juicy… just perfect!…as usual! My cat, which never begs, even jumped up two times trying to get to it. Thank you!

We have been eating here for over 30 years. In the last year or so it has fell off. Missing items ,over cooked and burnt food. Never was a problem about a issue til lately. Don’t bother to call and get a credit cause they will tell you they have no record of it. Have them make your order correct. We were not customers that ordered 3 times a year. Minimum 3 times a month for years. 4 months ago is when I had enough of wasting my money. Chicken wasn’t the same ,sandwich’s weren’t the same and over cooked food. Nor were the good rolls they had. So after 4 months I gave it a try. OMG was that a mistake. $40 out the window!!! Chicken was over cooked ,cheese balls were burnt ,fries were old and cold ,rolls were dry and not good at all. Gravy was all water. And they changed their bbq sauce on top of all that they tossed my chicken in the bbq sauce and didn’t bake it on. Trust me we can tell. This place has fell off the charts. In a bad way. I will no longer order from golden chicken so I will now write this review. WAS the best BBQ chicken on the south side.
