Golden China is in my top five Asian restaurants of all time! I love how diverse the menu is with both Chinese and Japanese options. The menu is huge but unfortunately they did away with the sushi menu. If it weren’t for that I would give them a strong 5.0 rating.

It seems like this was a nice sit down place at one time. Now it looks run down and they only do take out. We ordered the General Tso dinner. The chicken was odd shaped fatty chicken parts, soggy with an off taste to the sauce. It was a sad portion as well with an egg roll a little bigger than your thumb. I was not pleased with the food or service and would not recommend it.

This is our go to spot for Chinese food. My husband order sushi and the flavor was wonderful. You can normally taste when food was made fresh and when it is sitting on the counter. It was so good, i didnt get a chance to take a picture. You can taste the difference from other chinese food restaurants and their food.

I loved their sweet and sour chicken, it was old-school for sure, just the chicken. Huge portion and great flavor, although a bit greasy but that’s to be expected. We did pay to upgrade to the friend rice which in My opinion was very mediocre for the additional cost that they charged.

By far an awesome choice to grab some Chinese food. Great quality, great staff, Fast service, clean kitchen, etc. Two thumbs way up to this place. If your in Norfolk there are two Chinese spots I highly recommend, this one and Kins Wok on 21st street in Ghent.
