This place is fantastic! We came early to avoid the crowd’s we’ve seen. Sat ourselves and were promptly greeted with menus. We ordered Gen Tsoe, shredded pork Sichuan style, and sweet and sour chicken. We were taken by how crispy the chicken products were and now realize Gen Tsoe should not be chewy! Egg rolls were excellent as was all the food! Server was great. We had plenty to take home. We’ll be back!

Order two takeout dinners. Items were not what I wanted. No soy or other sauce included. Lost my business although I live just down the street. Called & they got nasty with me. Don’t need them.

I asked for white breast meat general tso chicken. Was told there was 3 dollar upcharge, I said no problem. When the dish came out there was no chicken just fried batter. I told the waitress and her response was “next time get regular not white meat it’s a 3 dollar upcharge.” I tried to tell her that there is no food in my dish just friend breading. She handed me 22 dollar bill. Terrible food and terrible service. I don’t ever do reviews but had to review this place.

FRESH FOOD! I ordered vegetable based items and requested specific vegetables and a human sauce for the garden vegetable dish. The hunan sauce was in a separate container which is great because we could control quantity of sauce. Vegetables fresh, hot, no greasy, oily, over seasoned food. The takeout is efficient polite and the best in Port Charlotte/ Punta Gorda area for Chinese-American style takeout.Port Charlotte-Punta Gorda, North Port area is very limited in cuisine or great variety and cooking. It is mostly chain restaurants and American versions of any ethnic food. I don’t order the other meat dishes, fried items at any restaurant-but the two simple vegetable lo menu and garden vegetable dishes at Golden China are predictable, fresh, and good.
