Get the House fried rice! Definitely the BEST Chinese fried rice ever! Trust me, I’ve been eating and cooking Asian food for all of my life. The fried rice is not greasy, has good amount of protein and beansprout(!), with a hint of spice, and also the char from the wok – which is hard to get when cooking at home.

I’ve been coming to Golden China since I was a kid, and I still insist on eating here when I visit Sheridan. It is a wonderful place with delicious food and very friendly staff! My favorite with my family is the Golden China Special Dinner, highly recommended!

I don’t what is going on here but this was quite possibly the most disappointing dinner in Sheridan. I ordered Sweet n Sour chicken, sesame chicken, egg rolls, and cream cheese wonton. Where do I begin? Bad tasting chicken, strangely seasoned sauces, egg rolls only filled with cabbage, and a greasy sogginess that can only be experienced, not described.

Staff was kind and good was good. When they found my wife did not like an item she ordered they quickly offered to replace it. I had the Mongolian beef, beef and broccoli, fried rice and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup had corn in it which I liked. However when my kids asked for fried rice without vegetables they said they could not due that due to Covid restrictions. First their is no Covid rules against customizing meals. Also that tells me the fried rice is not made to order. Price was fair for the food we received.

I ordered sesame chicken recently and wow, it was awful. First, the price was listed as 9.50 on their menu and it was 12.50 when I got there. I let them know and they apologized but still billed me 12.50. I got home and opened the container and the rice was tiny and gritty. The chicken looked like gas station food that had sat for 8 hours under a heat lamp. The meat was dry and the sauce tasted cheap and not great. All in all a negative experience.

I would give this place 5 stars if each star represents one of my friends who couldn’t finish their food. The so called lo mein was more of a buttery angle hair pasta smothered in the sorrows of our weary traveling hearts. The carpet of our Toyota venza is now tainted not just with msg, but the tears of a generation. Worst noodles ever.

The best chinese in Sheridan. They’re family meals are delicious. Dine in or take out, never disappointed. Fast friendly service and very accommodating for our large group. Prices are great and they have beer and wine!
