We enjoy dining here from time to time. The service is always A1! Very prompt and respectful. Food is always fresh and great variety. We never really had a bad food experience. Ice cream machine was down but those seem to be a common issue. Can be busy but plenty of places to sit.

I gave it this rating because the air conditioning was not fully working. They had fans sitting in a couple of places. I haven’t been here in over 15 years. I was visiting in North Carolina. The food was ok. The vanilla ice cream machine was not working. I stopped for lunch. I found their bread pudding which was my favorite dessert is still tasty. The waitress servicing our table was working very hard to keep and entire section clean and with drinks.

Dining here for past three years. Food quality and prep usually very good, but there are several days each month they NEGLECT the ‘front’ and left side counter temperatures, Specifically the cabbage, black eyed peas, wrapped potatoes, wonderful baked chicken thighs, and pintos are literally COLD.

The food is decent however I feel not as sanitary as they should be with the food and the tongs that are used to pick up the food. Everybody does not use gloves I stated this previously in a prior review so therefore either make people wear the gloves or make sure the tongs are not sitting inside of the food where the people hands are touching them, people hands touch the top of the tongs and then it’s laying directly on top of the food I mean how nasty is that I told my husband I’m about to stop wanting to eat there so I try to find different ones to go to that focuses on more of a sanitary environment for the food for everyone to eat. We like it because it has a variety of everything to eat so we can choose from whatever just MAKE THEM PUT GLOVES ON PLEASE or OR MAKE SURE THAT THE TONGS ARE NOT ON TOP OF THE FOOD Thank you

We stopped here on our way home from Charlotte. $22 for breakfast. Prompt service upon entering, tables were ready and clean, the staff was friendly, the facility was clean, tons of options. Surprised there was fried chicken for breakfast. A plus!!! Jon Jon our service was just amazing!!! Very attentive, friendly and wonderful attitude. I even forgot my spoon and did not know where to get it and he got me one. Go Jon-Jon!

Went to the Breakfast buffet earlier this month and little selection. Bathroom floors were greasy as hell, you’d be trying to get up off the toilet and you be sliding every which way. Went for the lunch buffet good selection, food was ok. However the bathroom floors this time weren’t greasy but damn the stench of sewage was over powering almost making everything you just ate to come the hell right back up. Bathrooms are always neat and clean. No paper products on the floor which is nice.

Haven’t been to a GC in around 10 years. Most of the food was decent. Saw on the reviews here that the vanilla ice cream wasn’t working .. but those were older reviews so I assumed that had been fixed… Nope still no vanilla… They need to fix that if it’s been this long. Or put the vanilla in instead of the chocolate… More ppl want vanilla who puts chocolate ice cream on apple pie??
