There were fruit flies around the chocolate covered strawberries and flies around the desert area. Also saw flies at salad bar. The table we sat at was by the window and there was a dead fly in the blind and window and food along the window. The place needs pest control for the flying insects as it is unsanitary landing on food and needs a deep clean. Very disappointed and unsatisfied. Went yesterday(7/26/23) spent $83 for party of 5. Would have posted yesterday but was sick all evening – probably from flies on food. Wish we could be refunded. Will never go back! Disgusting.

Waitresses was friendly and were prompt to get you your drink. Food selection was abundant. The steaks were cooked to your desire (medium, medium done, well done). Salads were fresh and were not wilting. Price was reasonable for how much varity it offered

What an oasis for the tired and hungry traveler. There was slight wait to pay the ladies for the buffet but it was worth it! The salad bar was loaded with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. Even had two kinds of piping hot soup. I had the chowder… delicious. The buffet was enormous. From baked talapia to cooked to order steak there was literally too much to choose from. There’s a special senior person rate for the value conscious.And I must comment on the staff. Jamie met us and showed us to a freshly cleaned table, gave us a few extra plates and checked up on us from time to time to make sure our dinner was a great experience.

11/20/2022: Today I ate breakfast and though the food was good and the service reasonable, the first food tray I grabbed had a food partical on it, and my coffee cup also had a food residue, both of which suggests a problem with the dishwasher; however, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is good.

7-5-19 – Was in the area and decided to go to Golden Corale. Very open and spread out. Not long of a wait to get in, pay, and be seated. Food selection like many of the other restaurants. They resupplied many of the areas in a timely manner, but some took longer. The plates were clean, and most of the tables were. Alan was our server, and took care of us. Asked for a medium well done steak but got medium rare instead. So I didn’t get anymore steak. The fries were ok. There were many friendly patrons there. Otherwise the food was good.

I gave it 5 stars. My husband and I went for breakfast before we got on the road to head back home. I remember eating at GC as a child. I hadn’t been since then. I was very pleased. It was some good ol’ southern breakfast. The food items were fresh and plentiful. It was clean. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Go eat!
