Our family used to enjoy going to Golden Corral. Since COVID the kids have been begging to go back. My wife has refused countless times. The other day she finally gave in when our youngest girl was the only child home. I was a little shocked when the total was almost $60 but figured that it’s the new normal with everything else getting more expensive. I was however a little taken back by how bad the quality has gotten as well as the poor customer service. The cooks were rude, lacking the friendly demeanor I was used to in the past, and our server had the attitude that she was doing us a favor and a tip was guaranteed. The chocolate fountain is a thing of the past as well as cotton candy, and the ice cream machine was not working (all three are what my children used to love most about Golden Corral). The cook made me wait until all 3 containers of chicken were filled off the grill when he knew I was waiting for the food (he could have given me a scoop anytime). This place is just not the same. Definitely not worth the money. My daughter was so upset that she said as we were leaving that she never wanted to come back. And for the price and experience we are definitely not going back either.

The place is always busy. The line was out the door. The ice cream machine was down, again. The ” fat Free” Ranch ruined my salad. It makes it taste sweet, and was just horrible. The meat was burned. Generally not as good as it used to be. I need to find a different place to go when I’m on that side of town.

Only 3 for atmosphere cause it’s hot in the dining area. High light for was the BBQ chicken perfect inside and out. Good choices all round will go back and see how dinner rates against lunch.

I’ve been going to Golden Corral for years. It’s a good place to go for a food buffet. They need to fix their air issue, but other than that it’s pretty top notch. Lots of food options, though the amount of food seems to have lessened since Covid.

Horrible customer service and the food was not much better. I spoke with the manager on duty supposedly named Rosa and she continued to support the rude waiter who refused to clean a larger table in the section we were seated in . I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t be surprised to see this location closing and relocating in another part of town because at the end of the day we the customers have to come in here to keep this place open. She eventually cleared the table herself but it was to late because they already divided the family and we were about to leave.. go figure?

Loved it! In this economy (Thanks Joe!) I am amazed that anyone can put steak & seafood on the buffet at the price they offer. You can even get a rare one without waiting! Good selection of salad item, veggies, soups and desserts. Place was pretty neat & orderly for the volume they process.

After a day of work, it seemed like I would give it a try. Shortly after I paid, I knew it was a mistake. Once in food and seating area it was hot. Salad bar was a disaster with no lettuce. All other food was in shambles. The room was hot, but all the food wasn’t. Only the Brite spot was the waitress, was very nice and accommodating, and the water was very good.

The food was really good a large variety of foods wish they had the zero products for drinks and some deserts that are diabetic friendly but the fresh fruit and veggies the salad bar was amazing and the variety of different food was so good we went there for a baby shower only complaint I have is that room we sat in didn’t smell good at all not sure if it’s the carpet or what it needs like air freshener and carpet cleaned bad but we had the best service from this lady she was older but so helpful and sweet best customer service ever I would definitely come back especially if she was there she was amazing !!!
