I enjoy eating at this restaurant when in Ocala. Nice selection of items, great service, very friendly staff. Reasonable price when you consider the coffee is included in the meal price and, of course, all you care to eat. I always have water instead of soda, which would make it expensive. They have a takeout as well if you are in a rush.

Great waitress last night. Food was good, steak was awesome and so juicy. The grill cook had me laughing, very interactive. Bathrooms were much cleaner than they had been in previous visits! Actually, it looked like the restaurant was all around much cleaner!

Great place to eat. Employees are nice and friendly and have a great atmosphere. It has a variety of foods, desserts, snacks, and a wonderful salad bar to choose from. My meal usually consist of a hot piece of fried chicken leg and thigh, one piece of fried fish, a spoon of mash potatoes with gravy, bake mac&cheese, some kind of sautéed chicken over white rice, string beans, there are other hot vegetables to choose from as well. After eating a spoon full of all that I end with a wonderful salad from the salad bar without meat from the salad bar because the salad bar foods are very fresh I just got to get a taste of a fresh salad before leaving. The steak is hot off the grill cooked to your preference and not to forget the meatloaf, which is delicious too. I usually have no room for neither, however my family enjoys them. There are so many desserts to choose from that my family enjoys the cakes, pies, cookies, and sometimes cotton candy yum. delicious!! I can go on forever about all the different foods to choose from! 5 stars. Well, if there were ten, I would give it a 10 star!

My experience at this Golden corral was one of the best I’ve had ever in any Golden corral I don’t know who they got cooking but you could tell that the love came through the food. Everything was perfect salad bar the burgers the chicken the fish, and everything was good and hot. Met a lot of good people there as well friend of mine saw several people he knew and was able to reconnect with. So overall my experience with your restaurant was a pleasant one to say the least. I want to thank you for the great customer service that was provided. Down to the cashier down to the servers. May God continue to bless your establishment. Came in for a quick salad. So good as always.

This is not fine dining by any means. After all, it’s a buffet, but my experience was worthy of these 3 gold stars im giving it. My food was fresh and piping hot. The stations were clean. My busser (that’s what I call her) was attentive and extremely cordial, and yet not too chatty. She cleared my table with the quickness. And the bathroom was clean. You see, 3 stars. Now, there is one thing I did not care for, and that is some parts of the place smelled stuffy, so we just moved from there. This took away from me pushing the envelope to like 3.5 stars, even 4 simply because everything I mentioned prior made this a good quick stop in my day. Now, if you want to be personally served, you know, have your own waiter, this is not it. Fine dining, nope. But hopefully, if and when you go, my experience will be yours, and it will be a worthy quick stop for you, too.

Decided to go back to Golden Coral. We got there a little after 11am. Server waiting on tables was Nice and kept our Tea Glasses full. Food was fresh and good. Salad bar was fresh, and had lots of fresh fruit! I got the fried fish and shrimp and it was delicious. I also got cooked cabbage, brussel sprouts, okra, and the mashed potatoes. Cabbage tasted nice, and the other veggies were delicious too.

Yes, it’s buffet food. Some very tasty food, but you can’t beat the variety! And it’s clean! It’s soup, salad, breads, loads of vege and carb options, good meat options including steak and shrimp! However, the dessert! That’s full stars! Flavorful, lots of variety and oh so yummy! Yes, highly recommended!
